I remember taking a Kodak photo seminar in March of 1985 (long discontinued) that kicked off the first thing in the morning on Main Street. It had some interesting things pointed out during the 3 hours, which ended at the (empty) Mickey Mouse Revue (I miss that attraction).
Two things I remember clearly are:
1. the water in the water fountain by the bathrooms between Casey’s Corner and the Crystal Palace was the coldest of the Property
2. If you look up in the outdoor seating area at Casey’s Corner, you see wires suspended. Those wires were (are) used each day to transmit sound to keep the pigeons away from the MK. We can’t hear it, but they can.
A note, I usually look at the video’s from the link embedded in the daily newsletter and it does not allow me to rate the video or make a You Tube comment. Used to, but not any longer.
Needless to say, I watch them all and one day hope to see a picture of fellow Upstate NYer, AJ Wolfe.
