The 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will run March 6 – June 3, 2019. It is an absolute highlight of springtime in Walt Disney World, and we look forward to it every year!
And today, we’re bringing you along for a sneak peek of this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, as we have been able to enjoy some of the sights, tastes, and more coming to the Festival at a Media Preview Event.
From beautiful Disney-themed topiaries, to the Garden Rocks Concert Series, to Special Events and more, there will be a TON of blooming fun to enjoy, so let’s begin!
Outdoor Kitchens
2019 brings an unprecedented number of Outdoor Kitchens — also known as Food Booths — to the Festival. 17 Food Booths — including FOUR new Outdoor Kitchens — plus additional locations with dedicated Festival items will serve enhanced food and drink options to Epcot guests.
Citrus Blossom
The NEW Citrus Blossom Food Booth, dare we say, already has a hit on its hands with the Orange Cream Slushy, which will be served in this seriously adorable Orange Bird Souvenir Cup!
I mean, C’MON!! How cute is he?!
Note that the delicious (seriously, a favorite from the morning) Orange Cream Slushy will have an alcoholic counterpart with the Orange Sunshine Wine Slushy, but only the non-alcoholic Orange Cream Slushy will be served in the Orange Bird Souvenir cup.
Another HUGE HIT at the Preview event was the Tuna Tataki with Spicy Yuzu Glaze, Mango, Avocado, and Pappadam Crisp. It’s bright, light, and flavorful.
The Citrus Blossom will also serve the new Citrus Shortcake, garnished with a springtime bloom.
Trowel & Trellis
Today’s preview delivered a sneak sip and taste of items coming to the NEW completely vegetarian-friendly Trowel & Trellis food booth!
The beautifully refreshing Bloomin’ Blueberry Lemon and Ginger Tea featuring Twinings of London will be served in a souvenir plastic cup to keep!
Also served here with be the Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables, and Creamy Herb Dressing.
Check out the Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumb, Pomegranate, and Baby Herbs!
And heads up, heat seekers… we’re told that that the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread will have a bite to it!
Arbor
The new Arbor, which you’ll find at The Gardeners Terrace in The Odyssey Center will feature Fried Green Tomatoes with Blue Crab-Fennel Salad, Remoulade, and Smoked Paprika Oil among its dishes.
And why not wash it down with a Cider Flight?
Flavor Full Kitchen
At the new Flavor Full Kitchen, the From the Garden dish features Roasted Beets, Cashew Cheese, and Micro Herbs with Lemon-Oil Dressing.
A cool sip here will be the Blood Orange Aqua Fresca.
And for dessert? How about the Mickey Tart Peanut Butter Mousse with Strawberry Jam and Boba Pearls!
It is already one of our new Festival favorites!
The Smokehouse
A returning fan favorite food booth, The Smokehouse features a new dish this year: Shredded Beef Brisket with Smoked Potato, Chorizo Fondue, and Green Tomato Relish.
We are happy to say that this dish is ANOTHER winner that we already look forward to trying again when the Festival kicks off!

Topiaries
A stroll around Epcot is especially memorable during the Flower and Garden Festival, as the park is positively packed with topiaries depicting beloved Disney characters and the joys of nature.
And several of the 2019 topiaries can already be enjoyed around the park, including the new-for-2019 Toy Story 4 Topiary featuring Bo Peep!
Merchandise
As always, you will be able to commemorate your Festival visit with 2019 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival merchandise. And the Violet Lemonade Capsule Collection will celebrate the Festival’s beloved beverage found at Pineapple Promenade!
Of course, the Violet Lemonade Minnie Ears will be available. But here’s a glimpse at some of the rest of the collection!
And here is a look at this year’s Minnie’s Garden Party Collection!
Who’s that in the Garden Shed? Why, it’s our pal Mickey, with the Mickey’s Garden Shed line! Take a peek…
In response to guests’ request, Spike and Donald merchandise will be available this year!
Look for the Figment’s Imagination Goes Wild collection to make its debut on opening day of the Festival as well! And for the Dooney fans… Three Dooney & Bourke bag styles will be available for all guests, and one style will be available for Annual Passholders only.
Scavenger Hunt
The Egg-stravaganza will return this year, as will Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt. And this year…
The Scavenger Hunt prizes will be patches!
Annual Passholder Items
Disney World Annual Passholders, get ready to add to your Annual Passholder Magnet collection, because Pluto and Daisy will be the stars of the TWO Annual Passholder Magnets this year! Plus, these awesome Passholder Flower Pot Mugs will be available for purchase.
The Donald and Figment mugs will be the first two released. Minnie and Goofy will be available later.
An Annual Passholder MagicBand will be available, as well.

Kate says
Do any of the food booths during the festival take dining plan credits? Thanks!
DFB Sarah says
Kate, festival booths accept snack credits for food items (and non-alcoholic drinks). You can use a quick service credit to purchase three items, but they all must be purchased in one transaction at a single booth. Hope this helps!
Kellie says
Are the any demonstrations from gardeners and flower demonstrations?
Patty Mazon says
Will the festival be open and will there be special garden events. They were missing last year and total loved the garden festival center in 2017 ?
Julie Gural says
Will preloaded gift cards be available to use at the outdoor kitchens? The ones at Epcot’s Food & Wine were soooooo convenient!
Virginia Pusey says
Hi,
Where is the best place to buy one of the limited magic bands on opening day of the festival ?
Jelissa Correa says
This was sooooo helpful! Thanks ??
DFB Sarah says
Patty, the Flower and Garden Festival begins March 6. Click here for our list of the Special Events!
DFB Sarah says
Julie, they won’t have pre-loaded gift cards, but they will have Flower & Garden-themed cards you can load with any amount you choose!
DFB Sarah says
Virginia, they should be available in MouseGear, plus at any of the Festival merchandise kiosks.
DFB Sarah says
Kellie, this year the only publicized special events are tours — no demonstrations. It seems they stopped doing demos a couple years ago, and they haven’t been back. We miss them!
Patricia Carmichael says
Do you know if annual passholders get a discount at the food booths? I seem to remember being asked if we had a passholder discount at some of the booths at F&W last year, but I could be mistaken. We are considering purchasing passes this year and a discount at booths for F&G and F&W would be a huge savings for us to consider.
Thanks,
Tricia
