It’s really getting close now… Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open in Disneyland this summer, and in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios this fall. And now, we have a HUGE amount of new information regarding the Land… so where do we at the DFB start? Where else… with FOOD!!!!
With our sources including The OC Register and Entertainment Weekly, we’ve got details for the newly revealed RESTAURANTS — including MENU ITEMS– coming to Black Spire Outpost on Planet Batuu!
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will be a restaurant for hungry guests traveling the galaxy! The delivery shuttle parked on top will help you spot the location!
Proprietor Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs runs the kitchen, having once honed his cooking craft in the kitchen of Maz Kanata. And on the menu? Here are a few peeks… first, Oven-Roasted Burra Fish and Smoked Kaadu Ribs!
Or how about some Fried Endorian Tip-Yip (here’s a hint… it tastes like chicken)!
Vegetarian options will include the Felucian Garden Spread (a plant-based kefta “meatball” dish, according to starwars.com) and Ithorian Garden Loaf.
And for dessert, consider a Raspberry Crème Puff or Chocolate Cake!
Non-alcoholic drinks will include The Phattro and Moof Juice.
Ronto Roasters
Ronto Roasters will be a sandwich stand serving up the Ronto Wrap!
This wrap will be filled with spiced grilled sausage and roasted pork. Also look for Turkey Jerky and Meiloorun Juice…
…all while watching “a weary droid turns a crank that spins slabs of their meat beneath a slow-roaster made out of an old podracer engine” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Oga’s Cantina
We’ve known for some time that Oga Garra, alien proprieter, will open the door to Oga’s Cantina to visitors on Planet Batuu. Known as a safe haven for smugglers and patrons hoping to avoid authorities on Black Spire Outpost, Oga is accustomed to keeping “unruly patrons in check.”
Oga’s Cantina has a well-established reputation for its concoctions as well, featuring “exotic ingredients using otherworldly methods, served in unique vessels,” with cocktails (a first for Disneyland park) and mocktails among them. And now we have a look at some of the SIPS!!!
From left to right, we have the non-alcoholic Carbon Freeze, Oga’s Obsession, and the Cliff Dweller!
Also look for Moogan Tea, Blue Bantha, Bloody Rancor, and the Black Spire Brew.
And here’s a look at The Outer Rim, Bespin Fizz, Yub Nub, and the Fuzzy Tauntaun.
By the way… Oga’s Cantina isn’t the only place you’ll find serving Blue Milk…
Blue Milk AND Green Milk at the Milk Stand!
You’ll find a cart across from a TIE Fighter in the First Order-controlled sector of Black Spire Outpost. And it is another spot where you will find Blue Milk… and also GREEN Milk made famous when Luke surprised us all by drinking it in The Last Jedi! We can’t wait to visit the Milk Stand!
Imagineer Scott Trowbridge shares that non-dairy Blue Milk is “not actually milk. If you’re walking around Florida in the middle of August, the last thing you want is a heated glass of milk. It’s refreshing, delicious and great.” According to Entertainment Weekly, it will be soft-frozen similar to a milkshake, while the Green Milk will feature more citrusy flavors.
Kat Saka’s Kettle
Look for Kat Saka’s Kettle to serve the Saka family specialty: grain turned into a flavored treat (popcorn)!
The Outpost Mix will be a sweet, spicy, and salty treat!
And we’ve got LOTS more where this came from, my friends… so stay tuned!!

Jean says
Hooray!!! I’ve been so excited for GE food news!!!
Jayne Townsley says
I am so excited for this.
Lisa says
Apparently a long time ago and a galaxy far far away they loved drinks with lots of food coloring.
Aunt Beru would be embarrassed.
I was expecting more and better than Pandora. Turkey Jerky wraps?
Matthew says
I find the lack of vegetarian options disturbing.
Marie says
Matthew- Docking Bay 7 is supposedly going to have plant based dishes, including a kefta “meatball” dish with hummus and tomato-cucumber relish on pita.
Matthew says
Kefta is meat.
DFB Sarah says
Matthew, it traditionally is, but word is this is a plant-based version.
DFB Sarah says
Matthew, we did update the post with some info about vegetarian options that was released yesterday afternoon!
Jordan says
Au contraire, I am LOVING all these plant based options. Thank you Disney!! The veggie kefta are making me drool and didn’t we hear a while back that the milks would be almond milk based?
DFB Sarah says
Jordan, the Blue Milk is confirmed to be dairy free. The Green Milk was not specifically noted as being dairy free, but it may also be. We’ll update if we hear for sure!
Kathy D says
I would love to hear about gluten free options. Do you have any info on that? We are planning our first visit to Disneyland this summer. I know, just in time for all the craziness.
LauraL says
I happened to already have a reservation for labor day week (I booked in Jan so I have free dining).
When I went to make reservations, I noticed they have a Star Wars dessert party. However, there is no options to book it. Dessert parties are usually for fireworks or parades so it will be interesting to see what they have planned.
DFB Sarah says
Laura L., click here to see what they’ve been doing for the dessert party. You’re right it’ll be interesting to see what’s added/changed/removed!
Jenn says
Will there be no Star Wars character dining in Disney World? Now that would be a disappointment!
DFB Sarah says
Jenn, no word on one yet.
michael hanley says
I hope their is a star wars character dining in holly wood studios at galaxy’s edge.
Kori says
Are these restaurants available for ADR?
DFB Sarah says
Kori, there are no restaurants in Galaxy’s Edge that offer ADRs. Docking Bay is quick service, and Oga’s is a Lounge. If any of this changes in the future, we’ll update!
