The landscape is changing in Disney’s Hollywood Studios… and not just with the preparation for the August 29th opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Today, we are checking out the new signage for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, which will make its debut on March 31, 2019!

The show will welcome guests into the world of Pixar’s Cars films by way of an introduction to Lightning McQueen as we prepare to join the next generation of rookie racers.

You’ll find the new attraction in Sunset Showcase (near Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith), where currently the entry is blocked by planter walls while the space is still being prepared.

My son one a HUGE cars fan. We will be at the park next week and the first part of the next week. Sad that we will miss this. Wondering the chances of a “soft opening” while we are there though???
