If you are as excited as we are about the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, then you’ll be interested in another development as we are on the lookout for the Festival offerings, which include Special Events.
As of press time for this post, the dates for the Food and Wine Festival have not yet been announced. But this morning we found that three more Special Events for the Festival had been added to the Disney World Restaurants page!
Now, four of these events were already listed on the page: the Mediterranean Food & Wine Pairing, French Family Meal Traditions, Italian Regional Food & Wine Pairing Luncheon, and the Parisian Breakfast. Newly listed are the Culinary Tour of Japan, the Mexican Tequila Lunch, and The “Hibachi” Experience: Year of Celebration.
Please note: as with the previous listings, these entries do not link to actual reservations pages as of press time. They link back to the general Festival page which provides no specific information on these new listings. So, at this time, we can’t call these events confirmed.
But one thing we can say… it looks like the wheels are in motion for the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, and we look forward to keeping you posted on more!

We are really looking forward to our 3 week honeymoon at Disneyworld from end of Oct to mid Nov. Food and Wine festival will be a great way for out kids to eat a range of foods as otherwise if it’s not a quick service meal or table sevice buffet the choice for kids seems limited to bland processed food. Even the Mickey checked food looks pretty flavourless. It’s a shame they don’t do kid sized portions of the adult menu.

I’m really hoping they bring back some of the VIP events. I really enjoyed those.

Elizabeth – EVERY item at the food booths is a “kid-size” portion! What you get is about 3-4 bites. My husband and I usually share about 6 items to make a meal. The whole idea is to be able to taste a lot of different foods, not fill up on 1 to 2.

I cant wait to go! We are going in October and have not been in October since our 1st time in 2002!

This IS the best blog for all things food at WDW!! Only one I trust for planning my Annual Food and Wine Fest Girls Trip!
When can we anticipate Disney to release the dates and open up reservations for special events (celeb chefs, demonstrations, etc)?
DFB Sarah says
Carrie, last year Special Events began booking for the general public on June 14. But there’s no guarantee it’ll be on or even near that date again. If you’re not signed up for our Newsletter, you might want to. We’ll send one out as soon as the info drops.
