What better place to be on a picture-perfect Florida day than Disney World’s Magic Kingdom?
We’ll dive into the newest treats, merch, and more around the park. But we’re going to start by taking a look back…
Disney’s Walk Around the World Bricks
It was announced this week that Disney’s Walk Around the World Bricks are going to be removed in the coming months to make way for reconfigurations of pathways to improve the comings and goings of guests.
So, we wanted to share a couple of pics before they are retired.
BUT! Have you heard that Disney has developed processes — both online and in Disney World — for you to purchase a commemorative brick? You can read all about it here!
And you can check out our post about how to customize your own brick at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. in Magic Kingdom!
Castle and Construction
But the removal of the bricks, of course, isn’t the only physical change coming to the park. Construction continues along the area between Tomorrowland and the entrance to Main Street, U.S.A.
And change-in-progress can be seen around Cinderella Castle, too, where the moat has been drained.
This is to aid construction that will ultimately result in the widening of the pathway from Liberty Square to Fantasyland behind the Castle.
Snack Time!
At Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats, you can find classic Disney confections decorated in the color Briar Rose Gold.
These treats are set out in advance of the arrival of the upcoming Briar Rose Gold merchandise collection launching on April 1st in Walt Disney World.
Moving down Main Street, it’s been a little while since we’ve seen a Featured Flavor of ice cream at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.
But they’re currently boasting Rocky Road.
Speaking of things we haven’t seen in a little while…
The Mickey Red Shorts Balloon Bucket is back in stock! For now, anyway…
We spotted it at the Main Street and Storybook Circus Popcorn Carts.
Merch Time!
Just LOOK at the sparkles on this Cinderella Castle cap!
Not your style? No worries! There’s no shortage of Castle gear in Magic Kingdom… these pieces include a couple of new-to-us additions.
Oh, and you can currently find the D-Lish Disney Snack Dress at Uptown Jewelers!
But tucked in Tomorrowland, we found this 101 Dalmatians Loungefly Backpack in Mickeys Star Traders.
Alex and Ani fans… check out the latest Moana bangle!
“The Ocean Connects Us…”
… and so does our love for Disney, my friends! So I hope you’ll keep joining us as we tour Disney World together to check out what’s new!

Is there any indication of a completion date for pathway construction around Cinderella Castle? Great post, as always!

In one of your videos I thought I saw a reference to a WDW lounge or Restaurant that served limitless beer and/or wine as a drink option. I didn’t write the information down and have been unable to find it since then.
DOES SUCH A PLACE EXIST IN WDW?
