It’s time for the Easter Bunny’s most exciting Disneyland delivery: Chocolate Easter Eggs! These popular and limited-time Candy Palace treats are a must-get for the Easter season, and we’ve cracked into the first TWO flavors of this year!

We looooove the Disneyland Easter Eggs, which are packed with fudge and coated in milk chocolate. Packaging has changed a bit over the years. It used to be more botanical, and now it’s simpler and features fewer bunnies. 😉 (Click here to see what the previous boxes looked like!) Happily the price hasn’t changed much over the past few years; you can still get your egg for under $10!
The new packaging really shows off the egg, and we love that about it. The Chocolate Cream Fudge Egg is decorated with a purple and blue sugar pansy.
You’ll want to double check the flavor just in case that flower decoration changes. Ingredients and allergen info are included on the bottom of the box.
Once out of the box you can get a sense of the size of the Easter Egg. It might look diminutive for the price, but remember: this egg is literally a dense egg-shaped piece of fudge covered in chocolate. It’s super rich and super sweet.
But we still don’t recommend sharing. You could, of course, and maybe you even should. But these are so special and delicious, you’ll want to keep it for yourself. 😉
The Chocolate Cream Fudge is rich and chocolate-y — perfect for spiking that blood sugar as you scoot off to your next ride or attraction. And really perfect for celebrating the start of spring and the Easter season.
BUT if you’re asking us (and you might be), the best Disneyland Easter Egg flavor we’ve tried is Peanut Butter Fudge. You know us: we’re all about that chocolate-and-peanut-butter combo life. Combine those in a Disneyland Easter Egg and you’ve got a treat that’ll have you hopping.
Note the Peanut Butter Fudge egg has a yellow and orange daisy on top, but it’s otherwise the same in outward appearance as the chocolate version.
Inside is a whole other story! This peanut butter fudge is a terrific texture that’s dotted with small chopped peanuts. It’s definitely still sweet, but there’s a subtle contrast of salt from the peanut butter that is a welcome diversion.
Truthfully, you can’t go wrong with either Disneyland Easter Egg option, so we say: buy one of each! And then go back next week because the flavors are expected to change to chocolate-nut and vanilla-nut! What?! Yeah, don’t mind us if you see we’ve queued up at Candy Palace… again. 😉
