Our latest trip to Disney’s Magic Kingdom was filled with lots of specialty merchandise (and cupcakes) that are only around for a short amount of time. From the Dumbo Sipper and Popcorn Bucket to Main Street Bakery’s NEWEST cupcake plus those adorable Dumbo cupcakes — we’re covering it all for YOU!
These limited-time treats are hard to get your hands on, but don’t worry — we’ve got the lowdown on how and where to find them!
Limited-Time Goodies
debuted their LATEST cupcake — the Mickey Mouse Club Mousketeer Cupcake!
This JUMBO treat (seriously, it’s a really big cupcake!) features the classic Mickey Mouse colors and a double dose of buttercream frosting. You can read the full review over here!
It’s a cupcake crawl kind of week! Over in Storybook Circus at Big Top Treats we were lucky enough to try BOTH of the limited-time Dumbo Cupcakes!
Dumbo and Peanut Butter cupcakes, sell out quickly and both may not always be available. On this trip we got the LAST Dumbo cupcake and got word that some days they may only sell one of the two options.
You really can’t go wrong with either cupcake, but if you want to be sure you get to try them head to Big Top Treats soon — they’re only around through the month of April. (Read our full review here!)
If you’re looking to get your hands on one of those Casey Jr. Popcorn Buckets you better head to the Storybook Circus Popcorn Cart; this is the ONLY location in the Magic Kingdom currently selling this adorable bucket!
Dumbo Sippers can be purchased at both Friar’s Nook and Pinocchio Village Haus.
If you purchase both, they actually link up and become a train — how cute is that?! If you want to add these to your collection you’ll want to get them soon, as they’re only available while supplies last.
Characters Spotted Around the Park!
It’s always exciting when some rarely seen characters are out greeting guests on Main Street! This special surprise is a part of Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration, which continues through September 30, 2019. This week we spotted Robin Hood and Little John…
…Abby Mallard and Chicken Little…
Plus Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde!
Also out and about in the park was Peter Pan in Fantasyland..
And Liver Lips McGrowl, who was trying to order ice cream in Frontierland!
Same Day Dining Reservations
We spotted a Cast Member at the start of Main Street helping guests book dining reservations. Same Day Dining reservations were available, set aside separately from those on the My Disney Experience app.
Construction Updates
Castle Couture is getting a bit of an exterior refurbishment. Scrim walls are up so your photos will stay picture-perfect ????.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe was getting a paint job while the castle moat is drained.
And Tomorrowland Speedway remains closed for a lengthy refurbishment, while construction continues on the Tron Attraction coming to Tomorrowland in 2021.
