Tons of construction is happening around Walt Disney World, especially over at Epcot.

With major headway taking place on the NEW Skyliner Gondolas, Disney has been making a few changes around the International Gateway entrance.
Disney assumes that the number of guests using the International Gateway entrance is going to increase once the new Skyliner Gondolas open, therefore they are expanding the area!

Cast Members have also said that this area will continue to move back, deeper into the International Gateway as construction continues.

Construction is already pretty deep into Epcot! And as you can see, the Skyliner Gondolas will go right through Epcot. It’s sure to be a great view (:

The stand-alone ticket booth that is at the base of the bridge and closer to the Friendship Ferry boats should be opening soon. We’ll let you guys know as soon as it does!

It’s a shame this area is ruined for the nice quiet entry from the BW and BC/YC areas.
Lately, it feels like Disney is trying to match the surrounding roads, being under construction at all times lol.
I am excited to see the new improvements. Epcot really has me excited for what it will be with the new entrance, gondolas, and everything else coming in!
