Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle has been hidden from view while undergoing a lengthy refurbishment which began in January.
And while the walls surrounding the Castle are still present, the scrim that has been covering Sleeping Beauty Castle has been removed!
Guests can now see much of the vibrant and vividly hued blue and pink color scheme, with pops of golden “pixie dust.”
The refurbishment of the Castle is part of Project Stardust — an overarching plan which includes “a number of enhancements” to the entire Disneyland Resort — and in particular Disneyland park – in an effort to “continue to deliver a world-class guest experience” in advance of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
At press time, it still appears that the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough will open again to guests starting May 28, 2019. And we can’t wait!
