Do you have plans to dine in the Beast’s Castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom?
If so, you’ll want to keep an eye out for some new additions coming to the menus for breakfast and lunch.
Disney has revealed a few new items on the way for both meals, and the new breakfast items pertain to the Kids’ menu, with two new choices: Chocolate-Hazelnut Crépes with fresh berry compote and whipped cream and a Mickey-shaped Egg and Cheese dish served with Applewood-smoked bacon and fresh fruit.
For lunch? Kids can try the new Feast a’ la Beast (braised red wine chicken, bacon, mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and sautéed green beans). And for adults, a new Sweet Corn Bisque will be an option along with a new version of the Coque au Vin (a bigger portion of the kid’s Feast a’ la Beast), and Cannellini Bean Cassoulet featuring slow-cooked onions, red peppers, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, and thyme with white cannellini beans and toasted crostini served with a mixed spring salad.
New salads will include the Grilled Chicken Salad and a Citrus Poached Shrimp Salad with sliced gold beets, julienne roasted red peppers, haricot verts, pickled shallots, grape tomatoes, and carrots, both served with a red wine vinaigrette.
Though breakfast and lunch are both Counter Service options (only dinner is Table Service), they are unique in that guests may make Advance Dining Reservations to dine there for those meals and, 30 days prior to their reservation, may pre-order their food if they wish. So, look for these new items to present themselves as pre-order options soon!

Do you know when these will be available?
Marysa says
Are the new menu items an immediate change? Also, will they be replacing existing items or is it in addition? We are arriving next week and plan to eat at BOG for lunch and breakfast on 2 separate days. I’m hoping that an option that we wanted to try is not being eliminated.

For those wondering about the Be Our Guest menu changes: The Disney Parks Blog implied that the changes to the menu were already in place as of their publishing, but we were in the Park that day and did not see the changes implemented at that time. Further, the new items were not on the pre-order menu when we checked that, and they aren’t on the online menu, either. We’ll keep watching and update when the new items are implemented.

Question on preordering at Be Our Guest for breakfast or lunch. We have one reservation for 11 people under my name. Those 11 consist of three separate ticket/room reservations (parties of 2, 4 and 5). All 11 are on the quick service dining plan. The preorder site states they can’t split checks for preorder. However, with the dining plan can we preorder for all 11 on the one reservation and have the correct credits deducted from the respective room reservations when we “pay” for the meal via magic bands? Thanks for any help!

I hope that grilled chicken salad is not raw like that when they serve it…
Susan says
That’s a grilled CHICKEN salad? It looks more like duck. Or are there more new items than those mentioned?
DFB Sarah says
Susan, thankfully that’s the Tuna Nicoise salad!
DFB Sarah says
AM: A Tuna Nicoise salad is pictured! Thankfully…

Matt, this is a tough one. You might be able to talk to the cast member after checking in to see if he/she will split the meals and apply the credits to each room separately, but you may find that they won’t do it. In this case, you could head to guest services to request an adjustment, but that may cost you some time. I recommend calling Dining Reservations ((407) 939-1947) to see what they recommend… Good luck, and enjoy your trip!

Regarding the coque au vin chicken at lunch, do you know if it’s breast meat?
Karen Jones says
The potato leek soup isn’t on the order ahead menu so I assume it’s gone? So bummed if that’s rye case. I have the just released 2020 Guide and it’s still recommended there.
