Disney After Hours events offer guests the chance to enjoy the parks after closing hours at three Disney World Parks: Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Limited guest capacity for these events allows guests to enjoy popular park attractions with little-to-no wait.
Another highlight of these extra-ticket events is complimentary ice cream, popcorn and select beverages included in your admission.
Today Disney has announced that more dates have been added to these popular events for these three parks:
- Magic Kingdom Park: August 22 and 29; and September 5, 12, 19, and 26
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: July 2, 8, 15, 22 and 29; August 5, 12, 19, and 26; and September 3, 9, 16 and 23
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: July 5, 12, 19 and 26
You can visit Disneyworld.com/DisneyAfterHours to purchase tickets and view the full list of experiences and inclusions. Disney After Hours event tickets cost $125 + tax for advance purchase and $129 + tax for day-of purchases. (Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders can take advantage of a discounted price at $95 + tax.)

I’ve been waiting for these dates! I’m so glad they’ve been announced! I can’t find where to actually purchase for these dates though, am I missing something?
Felicia says
I remember when it used to be a perk of staying on property. We loved those days. We got to ride all the rides we didn’t get to do during the day. It’s just not worth the money to my family.
DFB Sarah says
Felicia, Extra Magic Hours are still a perk for Resort guests, and After Hours is a separate experience.
Emily says
I was hoping to see more after hours events for Hollywood Studios.
Samantha says
The dates don’t seem to be up on WDW’s website yet? Tickets aren’t yet available- do you know when they will be?
DFB Sarah says
Samantha, you’re right. We’ll have to wait and see when they open! We’ll update!
NENolan says
Still waiting on October! Please!
AL says
What’s are the hours?
DFB Sarah says
AL, After Hours ticket holders can enter the Park beginning at 7. The actual event is 10PM to 1AM. (Of course, subject to change at Disney’s whim, but we’ll update if it does!)

Touringplans had a blog comment in July regarding 50 minute waits for FoP at the AK after hours events. Joseph who wrote the review on the event commented that FoP wasn’t running at capacity anymore for the event due to downtime the day after – AJ do you know if this is the case? Thanks
