Promposals have become quite the tradition over the past several years, presenting unique and memorable ways of asking your date to the Prom. And recently we shared details about one of the most ADORABLE Disney promposals we had ever seen.
Luke asked Audrey to the senior prom with an unforgettable Up-themed promposal and thanks to Luke’s mom, Denise Baker, we can give you all of the details about how to recreate this ICONIC moment!
Luke, dressed as Carl, put together intricate details from the film Up to make this moment a special one. (Read the full story here!) So, how did he make it all happen? Well, he purchased the pieces from a few different vendors. His mother, Denise, kindly sent us all of the info to share with you so you, too, can prompose next year or maybe even propose any time of year…Up style!
So, what props do you need (and where do you get them)? Luke had the Up house, the Grape Soda pin, and an Our Adventure Book!
The Up house was purchased from DarcyEPrevost on Etsy.com. The house is sold in large and small options and it comes with detailed instructions to help you put it together! This is a digital pdf, so you’ll be building this all on your own using card stock, an x-acto blade, and glue!
You can also find her on Instagram @darcyeprevost. She sells lots of other models, and they’re featured on her page.
The Adventure book can be bought on Etsy from OwlBeThereDesign as a printable for only $6.00! We love the design because it so closely resembles the one from the film!
If you don’t want the printable, there is also an Our Adventure Book Photo Album option — find it here!
Luke also created a page inside the book that said “Audrey should we add another page to Our Adventure Book? Are you UP for prom?” These little details are what made the promposal PERFECT and really set this one apart.
OwlBeThere also has an Instagram, @owlbetherecraftsanddesign that features a few of their other designs!
The Grape Soda pin (which is too important of a detail to pass up if doing an Up proposal of any sort) can be found on Amazon for $7.99. This one, in particular, is sold by A2ZPlusmore. Luke attached this to the Adventure Book, for a little added touch.
