I’m so upset its not even funny

As a Premier Pass holder, I feel that I am paying for Star Wars projects before they open. This seems to be the CEO plan: Raise all prices so that Star Wars projects are largely paid for before they even open. At least the project will be in Hollywood Studios in Florida. We’re stuck with in Disneyland, itself, in California. The land is one thing, The Star Wars cult members, something else altogether.

Greed at it’s best. Right along with parking charges at resorts.

That’s it for me! Good bye Greedy Mouse!

They are getting out of control with the pricing
Rick says
They are pricing themselves right out of the market. Who can afford these prices with a fsmily of four. Then lodging and meals its crazy I wont be able to go back ever Bye Bye Mickey.
Beverly Vanderburg says
Walt would turn over in his Grave..The whole point of Disney world and Disney Land was to make it a place for Families to be together and have fun…They will soon price themselves out of Business,,,,,
Robert Ellis says
Disney is now raping their loyal family fan base with the unreasonable price hikes on everything. Guess I will stay at my DVC home and park for free and then just drive to Universal for the theme park portion. The annual passes at Universal are a way better value. My kids have also wanted to go to Lego Land and Bush Gardens in Tampa, but my loyalty has always been to Disney … until now. Thanks Disney for helping me decide to spend my hard earned money elsewhere!!!!!

We were finally able to buy AP’s this year for the 3 of us and I think it may be the last. Yes we get perks and discounts but all these increases and price hikes for parking is too much. More things should be available to DVC or AP holders like at least one Hard ticket event per year per person or waive these parking fee’s. We really now rather stay off grounds and save some of those prices. It really makes no sense to pay to park at the hotel but not pay at the park.
Margaret Radice says
I can’t believe they are raising all these prices , time to start going to universal instead
nick says
Gotta love the peeps moaning and whining about the prices but pay the price!
Robert says
Not me ain’t
Kelly says
we were ready to by annual passes but not anymore, this is ridiculous, when will it stop
Shirley Murray says
Annual passes were a good thing at one time. The problem being, you can’t buy your next annual pass before the price increases which doesn’t seem fair. The annual price increase seems to come before I am able to purchase next year’s pass. Why can’t I purchase a new annual pass before the price goes up and then have it begin when I use it for the first time and expire a year after that? This seems like a fair option for all pass holders that want to renew each year. As a DVC member, we don’t get enough perks as those who pay for their rooms with cash. We do pay as well since we purchased the DVC membership in the first place along with annual maintenance fees. Disney, give us a break too.
Thomas Newpher says
At least as of this morning (June 22), you can still buy Disney World Platinum annual passes at the previous price on Sam’s Club’s website. I just personally purchased two.

I agree with Robert. We are finally able to go back to traveling /passes which had to stop in 2015 due to illness, and now looking at options. WDW has been in our life since 1998, our wedding was even a “Mouse” theme. Our 1st trial trip was a few months ago so we talked about passes again. However several various increases have ensued along with this inane HS tier plan which will change everything. So GaylordPalms at Christmas, Sea World ( staying at the Renaissance Hotel next door), Universal (which has great hotels) and anyplace else . All these are now more fun to plan and less stress than Disney.
Also , I just spent 3 days in MK with my son and granddaughter, what a mess. There are NO stroller regulations in place, most of the bathrooms were disgusting ,although we happen to find a couple nice ones, and the Circus area in Tomorrow Land is no better then the last day at your local fair. The change from Mickey/Minnie was a big mistake . It is cheesy now and below standards for WDW. But if all they want is a very big , nothing special amusement park then mission accomplished.
Disney also needs to finish up construction in 2021 and then stop. Someone said previously that construction is becoming a land in EPCOT but goes for all of WDW.

I only bought the time share to please my son who is unfortunately overwhelmed by Disney. Their timeshares are a rip-off as well as everything else they have to sell. Any meal plan discounts end when you become what they call an “owner”
Keith says
Only hope Disney executives are reading these comments. What a joke and rip-off!!!
Jack says
Just got back. Place was jammed! They don’t care as long as the money keeps rolling in. And it is

I have always loved Disney, so it is very sad for me as a DVC Member as well, to stop going. I will build the points for a larger Unit down the road sometime. I went to and from Ireland for two weeks for a fraction of my normal “Disney spending”. We have now decided to start traveling abroad instead…I guess I can at least thank Disney for that, they drove us to see the world because of their pricing.

As a DVC member with Vero as our home resort, we couldn’t get into WDW resorts so we sold our Vero Beach DVC timeshare on the secondary market and bought Boardwalk DVC also on the secondary market. Disney does give their members any solution to sell their timeshare other than the secondary market. When buying Boardwalk DVC, the secondary market is easy and much cheaper than trying to buy it from Disney (Disney really only wants to sell their “New” resorts, not an existing DVC resort – only problem, you loose most of the extra member benefits when you own a DVC membership from the secondary market…
