Beaches & Cream Milkshakes
While it previously appeared that Beaches and Cream would close for a refurbishment beginning August 6, it now looks like the Beach Club Resort’s popular restaurant will close on August 26 instead.
On the Disney World website, we see restaurant hours currently posted through August 25th, so you’ll have a bit more time to tackle the Beaches & Cream Kitchen Sink! Note that the website does still state that a refurbishment is still anticipated, and — as of press time — it is slated to take place “through winter 2019.”

Is it true there’s going to be a temporary area where just ice cream and milkshakes will be available? I’m staying at Beach Club in September and was hoping to have a milkshake or two from there!
Andrea, when Disney initially announced the closure, they did indicate that ice cream would be available elsewhere (though likely NOT the elaborate Kitchen Sink, whacky milkshakes, etc.). When things unfold, we’ll update ASAP!
We are going in December, do you think it’ll open by December 8th?
