Walt Disney World
is gearing up for an energetic and explosive fourth of July celebration across the Resort, and today, Disney Parks Blog shared a list of festive, limited-time-only treats in its Foodie Guide to the Independence Day!
Disney World’s Magic Kingdom 4th of July Eats
Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
will celebrate the holiday with the It’s a Party! Sundae: red velvet cake topped with birthday cake ice cream, vanilla sauce, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, a cherry, and red, white, and blue sprinkles. See our It’s A Party Sundae review here!
They’ll also have a festive Sugar Cookie Sandwich. (See our review of the birthday cake ice cream cookie sandwich here!) These items are available through July 31, so you can party all month long!
Disney World’s Epcot 4th of July Eats
Unsurprisingly, Epcot’s got plenty of holiday eats to celebrate. Sunshine Seasons is offering a one-day-only Berry Shortcake with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream. Likewise, Fountain View is offering a treat only on July 4th: the Fourth of July Cupcake with buttercream and a white chocolate mousse dome.
On July 4th, Liberty Inn in the American Adventure Pavilion will serve up a BBQ Rib Plate (babyback ribs with slaw and cornbread), and the All-American Burger will be available, too! Remember that this quick service spot will close for an overhaul, turning it into a BBQ spot!
Also at Liberty Inn: the Voices of Liberty Quick-Service Dining Package! This meal includes an entrée, non-alcoholic beverage, dessert, and guaranteed seating for the Voices of Liberty Show at America Gardens Theatre and can be purchased for 29.99 plus tax on July 4 only in-person at Liberty Inn. Show times are 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8 p.m.
If you need an Independence Day slushy, Fife and Drum will offer (as always) The American Dream (we all want one of those, right?!): a frozen blue raspberry slushy with vanilla ice cream and frozen strawberries.
Disney World’s Animal Kingdom 4th of July Eats
A Fourth of July Cupcake is available at Creature Comforts and Restaurantosaurus through July 7. See our review here!
Restaurantosaurus also has a Burger and Brew Combo available July 4-7. This duo pairs a 7-ounce burger topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese, barbecue sauce, and jalapeno poppers with your choice of beer.
Flame Tree Barbecue will celebrate with — you guessed it! — the Ultimate Barbecue Platter! It includes house-smoked brisket, pulled pork, chicken, ribs, coleslaw, and beans. It’s available July 4-7 only.
And get your drink on at Tusker House, Tiffins, Dawa Bar, and Nomad Lounge with the 4th of July White Berry Sangria (available July 4-7).
Disney World’s Disney Springs 4th of July Eats
will offer the Red, White, and Blue Slush on July 4th only: blue raspberry slush, white Chantilly cream, and strawberry lemonade. Splitsville in Disney Springs will offer the same as its Disneyland Resort location: the Firecracker Cocktail. Sprinkles likewise will offer the 4th of July Box and the Americana Mini Box at its Disney Springs shop.
We spotted a festive cookie at Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill last week, and even more will be available via the restaurant’s To-Go Window, including brownies, mini cupcakes, and popcorn. The restaurant proper will also offer a 4th of July Sundae: fresh berries and gelato topped with whipped cream, a house-made waffle cone, red, white, and blue sprinkles, and chocolate candies.
Disney World’s Resort Hotel 4th of July Eats
at Disney’s Contemporary Resort always sells fabulous cupcakes, and on July 4, they’ll offer Mickey’s Fire Cracker Cupcake. It’s a red velvet cupcake with mixed berry filling and vanilla buttercream icing. Also in the Magic Kingdom Resort area, P&Js Southern Takeout at Disney’s Fort Wilderness will sell a simple vanilla cake and buttercream Independence Day Cupcake. And Gasparilla Grill at the Grand Floridian will sell a Pulled Pork Sandwich with pimento cheese, fried onion straws, and pickles.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge restaurants will offer several items, including a Red, White, and Blue Sangria at Geyser Point on July 3-4. (Note that Geyser Point may also offer Patriotic Rum Punch, Non-Alcoholic Boom Berry Lemonade, and Strawberry Sparkler, as originally listed in Disney’s Foodie Guide, but these were not available on our July 3 visit!) There will also be a 4th of July Donut and 4th of July Cupcake at Roaring Fork.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will serve up a Raspberry Dole Whip Cone in a blue cake cone with red, white, and blue sprinkles at Pineapple Lanai on July 4. And at the Resort’s Oasis and Barefoot Pool Bars, you can order the Uncle Slam: rum blended with cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and strawberry purée with a floater of blue curaçao. (This will be available in a non-alcoholic version, too!) And Capt. Cook’s and the Kona Coffee Bar will sell a 4th of July Cupcake.
We reported on a festive Apple Cinnamon Cupcake at All-Star Music’s Intermission Food Court recently.
Everything Pop at Pop Century will sell a Fourth of July Shortcake on July 3-5.
And The Market at Ale & Compass and Beach Club Marketplace will sell an Apple Pie Cupcake (July 3-5) featuring a roasted apple filling. Yum!
We’re looking forward to celebrating the holiday treats this week — so stick around for all of our reviews and food pics!
