We’re baaaack… And, with an all new What’s New at Magic Kingdom too (aw yeaaah!).
We have LOTS of construction, merch, and food updates for ya, so let’s take a quick trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Fantasyland
One of our favorite hidden gems is Big Top Treats inside Big Top Souvenirs. You can get different circus sweets here like house-made caramel corn, cotton candy, and more; and you’ll also find a lot of the same treats stocked at the Confectionery…without such a long line!
Big Top Treats started up a monthly Goofy’s Glacier a while back, and they are now featuring the Banana Orange Swirl Glacier on their list of slushes.
Adventureland
Two new treats have been spotted in Adventureland! The Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls at the Egg Roll Wagon are a great cheesy snack paired with marinara sauce for $7.50.
At the Sunshine Tree Terrace, you can now grab a Strawberry Vanilla swirl and a Strawberry Chocolate swirl. Even better news: You can add the swirls to the newest Dole Whip float option — Redd’s Revenge! They’re currently out of Redd’s chocolate hat, but in the meantime you can enjoy the Donald Waffle Topper instead (still just as tasty!).
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Ticketing and Transportation Center
Yup, it feels like there is a never-ending amount of construction in Disney World currently. With the 50th Anniversary coming up, SO much infrastructure is being put into place!
The Ticket and Transportation Center has some tram construction updates happening right now. Can they please make them as pretty as the buses are going to be??
Guests are still being dropped off at the same location before the bridge and must walk underneath the bridge to get to bag check and security.
This must seem like a long walk after trekking through the parks all day!
The fencing and green tarp is gone in some places (yay!), and there is an extended pavement in their place (double yay!)
The raised sidewalk on one side remains with the guard rails still in place. The old sidewalk used to have these on either side of the tram road.
At this point, the majority of the Ticket and Transportation Center is covered by fencing and green tarp.
Hopefully, we’ll get to see more progress soon!
(We’re so ready for the construction to be done and over with.)
Main Street
There was a tall curtain at the Emporium in between the kids’ clothing section and the men’s clothing section. A Cast Member informed us that they were testing something out, but she wasn’t sure what that was exactly.
Hmm, any guesses about what they’re testing?
Tomorrowland
In other news, Sonny Eclipse is still missing from the stage at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe.
We miss him and hope he comes back soon!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Main Street
The Emporium had same The Little Mermaid Alex and Ani Mermaid Hair Bracelet we saw the other day, but they also had a new The Little Mermaid VHS Case Bracelet as well!
The Mermaid Hair Bracelet is available for $49.99 and the VHS Case Bracelet is $39.99.
The Icon Minnie Collection has made an entrance in Magic Kingdom!
Need a place to store your cards and change? The Icon Minnie Wallet and the Icon Minnie Card Holder can help you store it all in one place for $29.99 and $14.99, respectively.
Ready for a shopping spree? Keep everything you need in the Black Icon Minnie Purse for $39.99.
The Red Icon Minnie Tote Bag can carry all the merch you buy in the parks for $19.99!
Still don’t have enough room for all your purchases? We don’t judge — we love shopping too! You can put your last few items in the Black Icon Minnie Bow Bag for $44.99.
Uptown Jewelers has an entire array of The Lion King Pandora jewelry. We’ve seen some of the collection at Ever After in Disney Springs, but there a couple new charms in the Magic Kingdom.
The Simba and Mufasa Charm shows the father and son duo looking at the sunrise together. If you turn them around, you can see their happy faces! This charm is available for $75. And can you feel the love tonight with the Nala and Simba Heart Charm next to it for $75?
Say “no worries” with the Hakuna Matata Charm featuring Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa for $65.
The Hakuna Matata Set, including the Remember Who You Are Bracelet and Charm, is available for $125. You save $30 with this gorgeous set! If you just want the bracelet without the charm, you can get it separately for $90.
The Minnie Dress we saw at The Dress Shop is back in action at Uptown Jewelers!
You can twirl around in this for $128.
Tomorrowland
Mickey’s Star Traders is featuring a Minnie Rainbow Youth Spirit Jersey!
The new white jersey has rainbow stitching and yarn around the front and back. The sizes run from XS- XL for $44.99.
Behind the counter, there are Disney Lego Mini Figures packets to add to your collection.
We’re seriously digging Edna Mode’s glasses. Where can we get a pair?
Frontierland
A new Magic Band has made a splash at the Frontier Trading Post! Available for $29.99, you can purchase The Little Mermaid 30th Anniversary Magic Band during its limited release.
We’re still obsessed with the gorgeous artwork!!
Fantasyland
Sir Mickey’s has lots of gadgets and gizmos celebrating the 30th release of The Little Mermaid! On top of the Magic Band, the store has the new Mermaid Ears and Ariel Hat we have already seen over at the World of Disney in Disney Springs. You can pick them up for $27.99 and $21.99, respectively.
There’s also a Part of Your World Stationary Set for $16.99!
Maybe you can keep track of how many thingamabobs you have?
The post-its are our favorite part! ORGANIZATION — under-the-sea style!
At Big Top Souvenirs, they also have The Little Mermaid Magic Band. AAAAND they have a Mermaid Coffee Mug for $22.99, complete with scales and a tail handle. (Not gonna lie…I kind of love this.)
Green on the outside, and purple inside!
Talk about flippin’ your fins!
The Nana Cozy Knit is sitting on a shelf at Big Top as well, waiting for you to take her home for $22.99.
Look at her little hat! How can you resist all that cuteness?
Whew! So that’s WHAT’S NEW in Magic Kingdom this week! But don’t worry — we’ll be back tomorrow with even more! Nothing stays the same for long in Disney World!

Can you tell us how the TTC construction is affecting the monorail connection between EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom?
DFB Sarah says
Noel, it is not affecting the connection between MK and Epcot.
Essie says
I hope Sir Mickey’s hasn’t changed. Isn’t that the shop with the giant lifting the roof up and looking into the shop?
