Hello friends! We’re back today with another What’s New and this time we’re going to be exploring all that’s new at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
From menu changes to new logo merchandise, there’s a lot to see, so let’s get started!
The resort has experienced quite a few MEGA menu changes. So, we thought we’d kick things off by exploring all that’s new in the world of Saratoga Springs food.
Saratoga Springs Food Update
Artist’s Palette
Artist’s Palette has made quite a few changes to their existing lunch and dinner menu. The new items on the Artist’s Palette menu are the beef and egg thin-crust pie, spicy chicken thin crust pie, Hawaiian thin crust pie, calzone, Reuben sandwich, Italian sub sandwich, Saratoga lobster sandwich (just like the lobster club sandwich, which was on the menu previously, without the bacon), and the cobb salad.
View our latest Artist’s Palette review — featuring these new items! — here!
The items that have been removed from the menu include the spicy Italian beef sandwich, Italian flatbread, bistro buffalo chicken panini, and lobster club sandwich.
The thin crust pizzas, also known as thin crust pies, that have been removed from the menu include the chicken, artichoke, spinach, sausage, mushroom, peppadew. The pepperoni and cheese thin crust pizzas are no longer on the menu, but they were available for us upon request.
We also spotted one of those delicious Orange Vanilla Cokes in the cooler case at Artist’s Palette! So, if you’re staying at the resort and love Orange Vanilla Coke be sure to pick one up on your way to the parks.
When it came to the location itself, the layout of the Quick Service ordering area was a bit different. There are now snack shelves that run down the center of the room in between the pastry and bakery cases and the drink and cashier stations. This used to be an open area for the line queue.
On The Rocks Pool Bar
The menu has also been updated at the On The Rocks Pool Bar. The location now offers all of the new thin crust pies mentioned above, except for the beef and egg option.
The location also offers all of the sandwiches and salads from the Artist’s Palette menu except for the calzone.
And don’t forget that you can still get these items “to go” at Artist’s Palette to take down to the pool yourself!
The Turf Club
There were also a lot of menu changes over at The Turf Club.
Let’s do dessert before dinner! The desserts added to the menu are the classic lemon meringue pie and a trio of seasonal gelatos. Copp Moncalbia Moscato d’Asti, Piedmont has also been added to the dessert wine menu.
The desserts removed from the menu include the honey cheesecake and banana pudding!
A seasonal salad, planet-based gnocchi, seared duck breast and confit, and pan-seared airline chicken were all added to the menu. Also, a whole roasted sustainable fish, which is is stuffed with herbs, lemons, and roasted with a fresh citrus salad and salted potatoes was added to the menu.
The pappardelle pasta, which has kept its existing name, is now $7.00 more and is served with shrimp. It’s satuéed in a light butter sauce and served with garlic, capers, tomatoes, spinach, and fresh basil.
The vegetarian option is currently the carrot gnocchi.
The items removed from the menu were the heirloom tomato salad, cast iron seared cabbage, grilled pork tenderloin, crispy fried chicken, grilled venison tenderloin, and the sustainable fish of the day.
Saratoga Springs Construction Update
There was also a bit of construction happening around the exterior of the resort!
We’ll report back with anything newsworthy!

Anthony M says
Awesome update! Any word on the room refurbishments that we’re to have been kicked off in 2019?!?!
DFB Sarah says
Anthony, looking more like late-2019 for an official start date on refurbishments.
Randal Douglas says
We are staying at Saratoga Springs in Jan 2020. Will the room furnishings be updated by then, for sure?
DFB Sarah says
Randal, from what we’re hearing, the renovations will not be complete by then. You could try calling the Resort to see if they have more specific information for you ahead of your trip.
