An annual pass could be an amazing purchase for the frequent Disney World visitor. The ability to go to Disney World practically whenever you want? Um, yes, please!
And it does come with some sweet perks. Potential early entrance into new lands, free PhotoPass photos, and DISCOUNTS! Drum roll, please…
Annual passholders can get up to a 30% discount (!!!) by staying in select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on most nights September 1st through December 24th.
Visiting the parks AND getting to relax in a discounted room?! We are just a little bit excited (a lot actually).
Advance reservations are required to take advantage of this offer. You can book now through December 24th for a minimum stay of 1 night and a maximum of 14 nights (you mean we can’t stay forever?).
Upon checking in, the Passholder must present a valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass — proof that you’re one of the coolest Disney kids around! (But don’t worry — if you’re not an annual passholder, you’re still one of the coolest kids around in our book!)
You may want to hurry, though! The number of rooms available for this offer is limited, so if you’re interested, you should book ASAP. Since it’s a room-only booking, you should be able to cancel without penalty up to 5 days in advance of your check-in date.
Other information you should consider before booking:
- Savings based on the non-discounted price a non-Passholder pays for the same room.
- Restrictions and additional per-adult charges may apply regarding length of stay, location, and party number.
- Offer excludes the following room types: 3-bedroom villas, campsites, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
- The offer cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
- Valid admission is required to enjoy theme parks and special events. It is not included in this offer.

Brianna says
How do you book a room with an annual pass discount if you haven’t activated it yet but purchased the annual pass through Sams Club?
Gavin says
Does it apply to all resorts
Sabrina says
Brianna, you can call and book over the phone. ?
DFB Sarah says
Gavin, Disney included this language, but you’ll want to call to check: Offer excludes the following room types: 3-bedroom villas, campsites, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
DFB Sarah says
Brianna, call Disney directly and explain the situation. You should be able to use a code you got from Sam’s Club to add your AP status to your My Disney Experience (and thus to your account in general).
Gavin says
Thank you for the help. My family looked at and didn’t know if it applied to all the resorts or not
Eric says
Getting your choice of resorts on an Annual Passholder Special has gotten nearly impossible! I was on the Disney site the day the Fall Specials came out & the best deal I could get was a Garden View at Riverside for $209/night. The next best was for the General Population Special at French Quarter, my resort of choice, for $231/night. Even the specials have gone out of sight price-wise!!!
Casey Ivey says
I don’t understand why the campsites are always excluded in discounts. Our premium site price is $200+ per night most of the time. Come on Disney throw us a bone over here…we pay as much (or more) than a room at the all stars.

This is so depressing. They drop a discount, finally, but it’s not available for any rooms in any moderate resort during October, according to my travel agent. It’s still on the Disney page for those days, and she says she started calling as soon as it was dropped. But nothing. So we are paying full rack rate for our package. Nothing discounted whatsoever, despite having a Florida resident making the booking, and being willing to buy an Annual Pass. Is this whole discount thing a scam?
MillieC says
When I checked yesterday POR was available for $179, CSR for $170. I went with Little Mermaid room at AOA for $114.
