Welcome back, friends! We’re here with another report on What’s New in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, and we’re ready to give you all the deets on construction, merchandise, and food in the parks.
We’ve got a lot to show you, so let’s dive right on in!
Disneyland Food Update
We noticed a returning hot dog on the menu at Refreshment Corner! The Philly Cheesesteak Dog is back for $12.99 before an Annual Passholder discount. The footlong hot dog is topped with thin beef slices, peppers, onions, and a cheddar cheese sauce, and served with a choice of apple slices or a bag of chips.
Check out our full review of the Philly Cheesesteak Dog here!
Disneyland Merchandise Update
During our stroll down Main Street, we spotted an adorable Starbucks cup at the Emporium! Although we’ve seen it before last year, the Disneyland Starbucks Ceramic Tumbler can be purchased for $24.99 and used for all your beverage needs. Alright, everyone: Coffee or tea??
Market House even had one of the ornaments from the Starbucks “Been There” series on its shelves!
The Disneyland Mug Ornament is currently available for $14.99.
Looking for more Christmas ornaments? Take a look at the new Nightmare Before Christmas Ornaments over at Port Royal Curios and Curiosities!
These ornaments are definitely up high on our shopping list, especially since Disney California Adventure is hosting the Oogie Boogie Bash for the first time this year.
Oogie Boogie is nothing without his trio of misfits. Just like the rest of the ornaments in the collection, you can purchase the Lock, Shock, and Barrel ornament for $19.99.
While the treacherous trio is on the way to kidnap Sandy Claws, the rest of Halloween Town is preparing for their own version of Christmas. The Mayor of Halloween Town ornament is ready to help out with the ghoulish rendition of the holiday in any way he can!
Obviously, the Pumpkin King himself is in charge of the new Christmas. You can keep him on your tree with the Jack Skellington ornament!
Make sure to pair him with the lovely Sally ornament. They’re simply meant to be!
Of course, you can’t forget their trusty sidekick with the Zero the Dog ornament! Don’t you just want to boop his little nose?
Disney Clothiers has the Fantasyland Windbreaker available for $49.99. You can channel 80’s vibes around the parks in this and the rest of the Windbreaker Line!
Pooh may love honey, but we adore Disney snacks and treats! Disney Food Straws are available at Pooh’s Corner for $9.99. We previously spotted these straws in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom!
We’re ready to sip on a Dole Whip Float with one of these straws!!
California Adventure Food Update
After visiting Disneyland park, we headed over to Disney California Adventure!
Before checking out the other new treats in California Adventure, we had to visit the Duke Caboom Roastie Toastie at the Popcorn Stand on Pixar Pier!
Somehow our popcorn tastes even better being served to us by this handsome daredevil…
Since Duke is taking a break from being a famous stuntman, we decided to head over to Hollywood Land to see what stars we could find. Instead, we discovered another Infinity Stone Churro at the Churro Cart!
The green apple Time Stone Churro is available for $5.75. We’re still waiting for our ability to use the Mystic Arts to start after taking a bite of it.
Read our full review of the Time Stone Churro here!
If you’re looking for something a little more spicy and a little less sweet, Award Wieners is serving up the Spicy City Dog!
The jalapeño cheddar sausage topped with chipotle crema, queso fresco, and pico de gallo and served on a toasted potato bun and is available with chips for $9.29 before the Annual Pass discount.
Check out our review of the Spicy City Dog here!
We’re sad to tell you that Ramone’s Serv-Ice Station has shut down until further notice. A Cast Member told us there are ongoing issues with machines overheating and breaking. Cast Members are currently trying to determine the cause of these issues.
We’ll keep you updated when we learn more information — we’re already missing those refreshing slushes!
Disney California Adventure Merchandise Update
There’s another cup in the “Been There” series at the Fiddler Fifer Practical Cafe in Disney California Adventure! The California Adventure Mug Ornament can be paired with its Disneyland counterpart for $14.99.
The Snack Character Pens we found in Disney World are also available at Los Feliz Five & Dime in DCA!
While we love Remy, Genie, and Timon, our favorite is the Pizza Planet Alien with that pepperoni pizza slice. Which one is yours??
There was also the Nightmare Before Christmas Tumbler Cup for $22.99.
Halloween or Christmas — you’ll have to decide which holiday is the best for yourself!
Looking for some new jewelry? Elias & Co. has plenty of options in the store right now!
We saw the Just Married Necklace, the Mrs. Necklace, and the Squad Goals Bracelet Set in Disney World, but they’ve made a shiny stop in Disney California Adventure too for $14.99 each.
DFB friends: Let’s all get matching Squad Goals Bracelets!
We can also all get matching Pink and Gold Mickey Ears or Silver Minnie Bow Bracelets for $14.99! We previously spotted quite a few of these jewelry items in Disney World.
If you’re a fan of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto, these Character Necklaces are a cute new addition to your wardrobe.
We think Pluto is one of the best Disney dogs around, and you can currently find a necklace featuring the famous pooch!
To go along with your Mickey Necklace, you can wear the Mickey Bar Hat for $27.99.
Or, if you are a huge Disney treat fan like we are, you can don the Disney Snacks Hat for $24.99. Hat hair? It’s worth it in these new merch pieces!!
While we’ve seen the Harvey’s R2-D2 Seatbelt Bag in Disney World, there’s an entire collection of Star Wars purses, backpacks, and totes available at Elias & Co.!
Traveling to a galaxy far, far away has never been more stylish than with this Star Wars line!
Now you can stock up on all the merchandise you want from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge while supporting the Light or the Dark Side (and maybe bring us something back too!!).
Disneyland Resort Construction Update
On our way out of the parks, we took a peek at more landscaping work around the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. Maybe they can make some Finding Nemo hedges??
That’s all for this What’s New in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure update! Catch us next time for more food, merch, and construction updates.
