Feta, pita, hummus, gyros — we seriously love Mediterranean food!
Paradise Garden Grill in Disney California Adventure is now serving Gyro Fries and we couldn’t wait to try them! While we’ve previously tried the Beef Gyro Platter, this new menu item takes seemingly regular fries and sprinkles them with a little Mediterranean flavor.
The Gyro Fries are topped with tomatoes, sliced pepperoncini, onion, cucumber salad, gyro meat, feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, and pita bread.
This felt like an entire MEAL to us with all the toppings! However, while there was a lot going on with this snack, the dish itself wasn’t too heavy. There was just enough gyro meat to ensure the fries weren’t weighed down. The cucumber salad added smoothness to balance out the crunchy fries, and the feta cheese added a tangy twist to the sweeter flavor of the tzatziki sauce. Even if you aren’t a fan of Mediterranean food, this combination is a winner!
You can grab the latest Paradise Garden Grill menu addition for $12.99 before the Annual Passholder discount. And, you can quickly snag a plate from Mobile Order if you’re really feeling hungry.
Can we have some baklava after we finish the Gyro Fries too? Pretty please?
