This summer has been an exciting time to visit Disneyland Resort. Not only did Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge open in May, but several new and returning entertainment offerings began this summer as well.
While we already knew the end dates for limited-time offerings like Soarin’ Over California and “Tale of the Lion King”, Disney has just announced the end date for the Disneyland Forever fireworks show.
Disneyland Forever originally debuted for Disneyland’s 60th anniversary in 2015 and returned to the park on June 7th of this year. The nostalgic and “timeless” fireworks show will end its current run on September 2nd. If you haven’t had a chance to see the show yet, you still have about four weeks to do so!
We’ll miss Disneyland Forever, in addition to the other Disneyland Resort offerings that are ending soon as well! Soarin’ Over California will end its run on August 31st, while the fan-favorite “Main Street Electrical Parade” will conclude its limited-time return on September 30th. Disneyland Forever, “Tale of the Lion King”, and Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration will all end on September 2nd.
We’ll miss Disneyland Forever and everything else that’s ending soon, but we’re looking forward to finding out what’s next!
