Welcome back, world travelers! We’re here with another roundup of What’s New in Epcot.
We’ve got lots of construction, food, and merch updates to share with you, so let’s get started!
Epcot Food Update
Future World
We’ve been anxiously waiting for the return of one of the most iconic (or shall we say notorious?) drinks in Disney World, and it’s here! Beverly is back in action, you guys!
The bitter Italian soda is certainly polarizing, but we’re still glad to see it back at Club Cool.
We also spotted some new gluten-free Fully Loaded Caramel Crunch Popcorn for $5.99 at Sunshine Seasons!
The more caramel, the better, in our opinion.
World Showcase
The smell of fresh coffee is what gets us out of bed in the morning. At the Joffrey’s Coffee locations in the American Adventure and Canada Pavilions, the Le Cellier Blend has replaced Mickey’s Birthday Blend.
Also in the Canada Pavilion, we noticed that the Le Cellier Signature Poutine has replaced the seasonal World Showcase Poutine on the Le Cellier.
In the Norway Pavilion, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe has added a new menu item — Chocolate Cake with Banana Mousse. This is a chocolate cake topped with banana mousse, covered in chocolate ganache, drizzled with white chocolate, and sprinkled with crisp chocolate bits.
You can try the dessert for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.
Check out our full review of the new dessert here!
At Fife & Drum, we spotted a newly installed condiment station with ketchup and mustard!
Epcot Construction Update
Future World
Construction for the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster is underway, but we sure wish we could take a peek inside! The coaster is set to open in 2021 in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration.
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival starts at the end of this month and August 29th cannot come soon enough! During our visit, we spotted a continuation of the booth construction we noticed last week.
View all the menus for this year’s Food and Wine Festival here!
World Showcase
Last week, we told you about the construction covers we spotted in the Canada Pavilion. During our most recent visit, we noticed additional covers over the scaffolding. We assume this construction work is for routine maintenance, but we’ll let you know if we learn more!
O Canada! is currently closed for refurbishment, and so its sign is missing for the time being.
The France Pavilion is undergoing quite a bit of change! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and a new crêperie are both coming to the Pavilion, in addition to a Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-Long. These experiences are all slated to be open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021. Which experience are you most excited about??
We couldn’t help but snap a quick picture of the Skyliner Gondola System, which will officially open on September 29th. How do you feel about the new transportation option?
Epcot Merch Update
Future World
Believe it or not, Disney World’s Halloween season will be upon us when the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off in 10 DAYS! You can celebrate the spooky holiday with the new The Nightmare Before Christmas merch in Mouse Gear.
Look like the Pumpkin King in this Jack Skellington Jacket…
… create your own chilling concoction in this The Nightmare Before Christmas Mug…
…and join in hailing to the pumpkin song with the rest of the Halloweentown residents with The Nightmare Before Christmas Backpack! You can check out the rest of the terrifying collection here!
A new Epcot Passport is ready for all your travel needs for $12.99.
You can get stamps for all the characters you can see in the World Showcase…
… and even the countries you can visit!
While the old version is still available in Mouse Gear…
…we’re kind of digging the new look.
Although they aren’t super new anymore, the Noah Ear Hat has chugged its way into Mouse Gear for $48…
… and The Little Mermaid Compact (which we previously spotted in Disneyland) is available for $19.99!
World Showcase
Looking around the Mexico Pavilion before heading on the Gran Fiesta Tour? Check out some of the adorable merch you can find! Now, we aren’t sure if all of these merchandise items are brand new, but since we hadn’t seen any of these in a while we thought we’d tell you about all of them!
Love the Three Caballeros as much as we do?? Party with the band wearing these shirts…
… this shot glass…
… and this tumbler cup for a real fiesta!
We also love this Día de Los Muertos Water Bottle!
Celebrate the Day of the Dead with these shirts…
…and this Mexican Sugar Skull Mug!
Next to Morocco’s Spice Road Table, we spotted several Morocco Shirts we’d never seen before for $39.99 each!
Does all that rainy Florida weather have you feeling a little sniffly? The Twinings Cold Infuse line at The Tea Caddy can help!
There are five different flavors for $9.99 each, including Passionfruit, Mango, & Blood Orange and Blueberry, Apple, & Blackcurrant…
…Watermelon, Mint, & Strawberry…
… Lemon, Orange, & Ginger…
…and Pink Lemonade!

Mickey says
Waiting for Remy also Beauty and the Beast.
Roxane Erickson says
Concerned about air flow & temperature in the new Gondola’s, but looking forward to trying them out in Dec.
eric says
Did I read that right $40 bucks for a new tshirt in Morocco???
also did you notice if they have the Three Cabballeros tote available again in Mexico? thanks
Essie says
Wow, I love the Little Mermaid compact.
Lorraine says
Beverly is just too bitter for me.
Love the camel shirt, but the price is so high!
Would love three flavors of those new Twinings water enhancers. 12/$10… I guess I could live with that and consider them special treats.
I always thought the Epcot Passport was for kids. I think I’ll have to gt one on my next trip, hopefully later this year.
What I REALLY want would be to be able to get a few Food & Wine Festival passports so we can mark up where we want to go before we come. Last year I printed our own “itineraries”, but that was a long, involved pain in the neck to prepare as well as to use.
Melissa says
I’m being selfish here but I’m not looking forward to the new gondola transportation. We usually stay at the Yacht & Beach Club Resort & it was nice having the entrance to Epcot at the international gateway. It will now be more congested. Do you know if there will be a larger entrance with more lines to enter the park at this location to accommodate the extra crowds? Thanks for all the information!
DFB Sarah says
Melissa, they’ve been re-working that entrance for a while, so when it opens we’ll get a better idea of whether it appears to increase capacity.
