Today is The Haunted Mansion’s 50th birthday in Disneyland, and Disney World is getting in on the celebration!
To celebrate the momentous occasion, Magic Kingdom has introduced a variety of limited-time merchandise. The brand new merchandise debuted in the park today, and we were there to check it out for you!
We found a good bit of this merchandise in Disneyland as well, so don’t worry if you’re closer to Anaheim than Orlando. We’ll be updating this post throughout the day with additional items, so keep checking for even more merchandise!
Liberty Square
Memento Mori
We’ll start our tour in Liberty Square, where we found a whole bunch of merchandise from Memento Mori!
The Host-A-Ghost collection immediately caught our attention. If you want to take your very own ghost home with you, now is your chance! You can choose from The Hatbox Ghost, Constance Hatchaway, and others.
These jars are super cool because, according to Disney, “with a ghostly giggle and a simple tap on these jars, Madame Leota will conjure your spirit to materialize for you.”
Each jar comes with a death certificate for the spirit you choose to take home, whether you choose Captain Culpepper Clyne…
…Amigus Arcane…
…or Ezra Beane! (Can we have a moment of appreciation for this totally in-character Cast Member?).
We couldn’t believe how cool The Hatbox Ghost looks all lit up!
The Host-A-Ghost jars themselves are extremely detailed — even the lids feature The Haunted Mansion’s logo!
Once we stopped gazing at the Host-A-Ghost jars, we also found The Haunted Mansion Alex and Ani bracelet! This gold bracelet features none other than The Hatbox Ghost!
One can never have too many ear hats, right? If you love mouse ears as much as we do, you’ll be happy to know we spotted The Haunted Mansion Anniversary ear hat!
The hat features The Hatbox Ghost on one ear and Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion (along with a few bats) on the other ear. The Haunted Mansion’s 50th-anniversary logo is front and center on the hat.
We also noticed a Doom Buggy replica! The toy glows with ghosts from the attraction and plays sounds from the ride as well.
Next, we spotted The Haunted Mansion ornament! It’s never too early to start thinking about the holidays, right? The ornament features the attraction’s 5oth anniversary logo on one side and Madame Leota on the other side.
Doesn’t she look super creepy here (even more so than usual?)?
If you want some super epic mouse ears — you’re in luck! We found the totally awesome Haunted Mansion Glow Ears during our stop at Memento Mori.
When you turn them on, each ear illuminates a trio of happy haunts and the attraction’s name. Talk about epic!
Since we’re big coffee drinkers, we had to snap a quick photo of The Haunted Mansion Anniversary Mug! The black mug features etchings in the background, but the ride’s 50th-anniversary logo is front and center.
We spotted a handful of apparel at Memento Mori as well. We found a v-neck shirt…
…a t-shirt…
…and a zip-up jacket!
The last thing we spotted at Memento Mori was a Haunted Mansion throw. Maybe this will keep you warm if you run into any ghosts!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, we found The Haunted Mansion Dooney & Bourke collection! The collection includes a crossbody, tote, and an Annual-Passholder exclusive satchel.
Learn more about the new Dooney & Bourke collection here!
Frontierland
Frontier Trading Post
In Frontier Trading Post, we saw the Madame Leota Funko Pop! This Funko Pop! glows in the dark and is exclusive to the Disney parks. We may have bought one (or more) of this when we spotted it!
We also spotted several Haunted Mansion pins in Frontier Trading Post, including a commemorative anniversary pin and a mystery pin collection!
According to Disney, all merchandise will be available while supplies last. Keep following along with us as we find even more merchandise for The Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary!

Are the jarred ghosts only for the 50th anniversary celebration? Our daughter loves HM and is bummed we could not make it for the celebration. We are trying to get there next year.

Not all of it but some of these things look a bit gawdy and cheap to me.
Michelle says
Any idea how much the jarred ghosts are? They’re so cool! We’ll be there this upcoming Sunday and would love to check these out.

Michelle, I bought a Host a Ghost jar at Memento Mori a couple of weeks ago and it was $60. Worth the money, imho!

What’s he doing inference between this Madam leota Funko and the one they sell at the regular retail stores?
