Disney World is no stranger to introducing over-the-top treats that have price tags to match. And while some of the fancy and $$$$$$ eats are totally NOT worth the cost, there are a few that for sure ARE!
Let’s look at our most recent list of totally ridiculous Disney World snacks that are entirely worth the cash dollas… .
1. Minnie Milk Shake from The Plaza Restaurant
If you’re looking for a strawberry ice cream treat during your Magic Kingdom day, head straight to The Plaza Restaurant and try the Minnie Milk Shake. This shake is a recent addition to The Plaza’s menu, and we HAD to try it as soon as we saw it.
This is a strawberry milkshake topped with a strawberry glazed donut, chocolate cookies, a chocolate Minnie bow, a strawberry ice cream cone, and whipped cream. There’s a LOT going on with this shake but in the best way.
When we tried this shake, the ice cream was delicious and the toppings held up very well. We thoroughly enjoyed the blended flavors from the chocolate cookies and strawberry ice cream.
The $14 price tag may seem a bit steep for a shake, but it is totally shareable between two or even three people. We’re not sure how long the Minnie Milk Shake will stick around, so be sure to try it when you’re in Magic Kingdom!

2. Celebration Parfait from Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet
In case you missed it, Disney Springs’ West Side has welcomed a NEW food truck — Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet.
We tried every featured menu item, and our favorite was the Celebration Parfait! This treat includes layers of Celebration Cookie Dough and Celebration Mickey Cake (which tasted like Funfetti cake), vanilla custard, strawberries, sprinkles, whipped cream, and a cherry.
This colorful treat was delicious! The balance of the custard, strawberries, and cookie dough was great, and while it was sweet, it wasn’t, like, tooth-pain kind of sweet ;-D.
You can grab the Celebration Parfait for $8 in Disney Springs. You can’t use a Disney Dining Plan snack credit on it, but we still think it’s worth the out-out-pocket cost.

3. Bubble Waffles from AristoCrepes
You’ll also find the totally epic Bubble Waffles in Disney Springs! AristoCrepes not only serves up sweet and savory crepes, but they offer Strawberry and Caramel Bubble Waffles as well.
The Strawberry Bubble Waffle is filled to the brim with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and strawberry pearls for a unique sundae-on-the-go!
The Salted Caramel Bubble Waffle is filled with chocolate ice cream, chocolate-covered pretzel pieces, crispy pearls, caramel sauce, and more of that vanilla bean whipped cream.
Either choice is delicious, but our personal favorite is the Salted Caramel. Each Bubble Waffle costs $8.99 and is not snack-credit eligible. But, these are easily shareable and super filling.
If you want to try one of these REDONK treats, it’s important to note that AristoCrepes doesn’t open until 4 PM on weekdays and 12 PM on weekends. But we could never say no to one of these Bubble Waffles, no matter the time of day.

4. No Way José Sundae from Beaches & Cream
You can find several over-the-top treats at Beaches & Cream (like the Kitchen Sink), but one of our longtime favorites is the No Way José Sundae.
The base of this sundae is chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It’s doused with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce (give us allll the sauce) and topped with whipped cream, chocolate and peanut butter morsels, and a cherry.
This sundae has been around a long time and NEVER disappoints. The No Way José is completely worth its $11 price.

5. Topped Macaroni & Cheese from Eight Spoon Cafe
If you’ve been waiting for us to mention a snack credit-eligible item, you’re in luck! At Eight Spoon Cafe in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll find a pair of topped macaroni & cheese options.
You can either get your mac topped with shrimp and sweet chili sauce or you can get it loaded with pulled pork. (You can also get plain Macaroni & cheese as well, but we prefer the topped options.)
We absolutely love the shrimp and pulled pork macaroni & cheese whenever we order them — they are both flavorful and delicious. You can get them for $6.99 and $6.79, respectively. Both are EXCELLENT uses of a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

6. Beef Brisket Poutine from Refreshment Port
At Epcot’s Refreshment Port, you can grab Beef Brisket Poutine for $9.50. This appeared as a menu item for 2018’s Food and Wine Festival and 2019’s Flower and Garden Festival, but it is listed as a regular menu item at the moment.
View the menus for 2019’s Food and Wine Festival here!
The Beef Brisket Poutine consists of french fries, brisket, beer-cheese sauce, poutine gravy, and crispy onions. What could go wrong when you combine french fries, brisket, and cheese?? We can’t think of anything! Grab this very filling (and worth it!) snack the next time you’re in Epcot.

This may not be the popular opinion, but those desserts look awful. Too much stuff just piled on top of each other. Yes, I could eat only as much as I wanted and discard the rest; yes, I could share. But really, they don’t even look good enough to buy for any reason. I’m really sorry Disney is going this direction with desserts.
Marty Devine says
These desserts don’t look appealing at all. They are a messy jumble of what are probably items that are delicious, by themselves . Go back to the drawing board and design some better desserts please.
Wayne Morrison says
I agree with B and Marty, gross, they look like what the last person had to do after a couple of big bites!
Patricia C says
I agree that the Minnie Shake, parfait and bubble waffles are just a bit too much….but that no way jose sundae is a classic and SO GOOD. also, i had that beef brisket poutine in May and I must say, it was sooooo delicious. I still talk about it! The cheese sauce on it is actually flavorful and the brisket was perfect. I’m glad to see that it stuck around!
Andrea says
I agree abouf the desserts. They look awful, a right mess.
Erin says
The bubble waffles are delish. They aren’t too sweet. It’s basically ice cream and fruit on a crispy waffle. They are too big to eat solo – you need 2-3 people. They make them fresh as you stand there. Also $9 is a Disney bargain.
Jerry says
These all look delicious! Why would someone waste the time to leave a negative comment on such a yummy topic?
Thank you DFB!
