Welcome to another roundup of What’s New in Epcot!
Obviously, the BIG NEWS is that the 2019 Food and Wine Festival began yesterday, but we also found some other new things along the way!
Epcot Food Update
Food and Wine Festival
As we mentioned above, the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicked off during our visit! The Festival introduced two new booths yesterday — The Alps and Appleseed Orchard. Two MORE will join the lineup on October 1st — The Donut Box and Cool Wash.
View menus and photos from every food booth here!
The Festival also introduced Emile’s Fromage Montage, which is a cheese crawl similar to last year’s cookie stroll during Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays.
In your Food and Wine Festival Passport (free!), you’ll turn to pages 39-41 and find listed the locations of five cheesy eats and six empty circles. Purchase the five menu items as you enjoy the Festival, collecting a stamp at each food booth where you find the snacks.

World Showcase
In the UK Pavilion, we spotted a new Cornish Pasty at Yorkshire County Fish Shop. It comes with chips for $11.49.
We thoroughly enjoyed the pastry but we weren’t all that fond of the filling. Ours was full of ground beef and LARGE chunks of potato but was in serious need of some seasoning.
We LOVED the delicious chips, though!

In the Italy Pavilion, we noticed that the outdoor wine bar has returned, serving a variety of wines and beers.
The featured cocktail is the Limoncello Spritzer once again, and we had to grab it for ourselves (and we are so glad we did)!
The Spritzer was absolutely delicious. It had a strong limoncello flavor but was very yummy and SUPER refreshing.
Also in the Italy Pavilion, Pizza al Taglio has reopened as well.
Multiple Locations
At various Joffrey’s coffee kiosks around the park, fall season drinks were available! Starbucks isn’t the only place to grab a pumpkin spice latte, y’all. 😉
Epcot Construction Update
Future World
In Future World, we saw that the water outside The Land Pavilion had been drained. In case you missed it, The Land Pavilion will become part of Epcot’s upcoming World Nature neighborhood.
Learn more about Epcot’s three upcoming neighborhoods here!
Also in Future World, construction on Space 220 is still underway. This restaurant is slated to open this year, and we can hardly contain our anticipation!

The Odyssey Events Pavilion got a new paint job! The area between the restrooms and baby care center has been painted blue. If you haven’t heard, the NEW Epcot Experience is coming to the Pavilion this October.

World Showcase
The pathway to World Showcase reopened during our visit, but there was still ongoing construction. The construction we saw was near Refreshment Port.
Epcot Merchandise Update
In Mouse Gear and Souvenirs de France, we spotted this absolutely adorable Minnie Macaron Purse ($24.99)
It comes with a strap and is accented with sequin trim and a polka-dot Minnie Bow!
This would be the perfect bag to carry with you on your Food and Wine Festival adventures!
Also in Mouse Gear, we saw a sign for a Rebecca Hook Jewelry event that’s taking place on August 30th-31st.
We also found a TON of Food and Wine Festival merchandise!
We found everything from limited edition pins…
…to Minnie Ears…
…and Passholder-exclusive items!
