Huge ice cream sundaes at an old-fashioned soda fountain? We seriously love Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort.
And, although the original location is closed for lengthy refurbishments, the sweet treats featured on the menu have been brought over to the temporary satellite location. Yet, when we went to take a bite of one of our all-time favorite Disney World desserts, we found a sundae that was a little bit different than we remember.
After moving to Ariel’s, an event space inside the Beach Club Resort…
… Beaches & Cream had to reconfigure their menu somewhat to fit into the satellite location (missing you lots, Grilled Cheese). Even fountain drinks have disappeared, leaving behind bottled water and bottled sodas in their place.
Although the Kitchen Sink and giant milkshakes have taken a hiatus, you can still snag the scoops of ice cream, souvenir mini Mickey or Minnie Sinks, or those boozy hard floats.
And thankfully, their signature sundaes, including the No Way Jose Sundae (our personal favorite), are still on the menu making guests’ tastebuds happy.
Complete with scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter sauce and hot fudge drizzle (!!!), peanut butter and chocolate chips, whipped cream and a cherry on top, the original No Way Sundae is a DREAM.
Have you ever seen anything so wonderful in your entire life?!
Of course, we had to order it when we were at the temporary location! But, after we got it, we ended up finding…
… This kinda mini version of the original??
Without the glass goblets, the three scoops of ice cream still fit into the plastic ice cream container; but I think the toppings (my whole reason for getting the sundae tbh) were a little skimpy. And, while it was still definitely shareable, we have to say that the $11 price tag was kinda steep for the seemingly smaller version of the No Way Jose. (It tasted just as good though!)
The three months the original location will be closed will blow by, then we can all get back to our full-sized sundaes and ginormous kitchen sinks once again! To hold you over in the meantime, we HIGHLY recommend trying this peanut butter and hot fudge beauty at the temporary Beaches & Cream…even if it’s a little smaller 😉

Last year, when we stayed at the Yacht club, we went down to Beaches and Cream, ate at the counter and then ordered ice cream to take back to the room ( to eat while we watched Illuminations on the balcony❤️). I got the No way Jose sundae and SAME!! It was in the container! I felt the same way! Like it was “smaller”!!! It did not seem like the same one/same size that came in the big glass goblet…it looked just like the one in your plastic container! I felt like it looked like WAY less for the same price!

So glad to know beaches n cream has a satelite location. Maybe you could do another construction/ refurbishment/ changes in the park video. And put that in it. My better half and I are visiting WDW In November and were totally bummed to hear it was closing as its on our list of places to visit. This changes everything. Lol!!!
