Walt Disney World has just announced a number of closures in effect beginning tomorrow afternoon (September 3) in advance of Hurricane Dorian’s approach. These include early closures at all four Parks and Disney Springs as well as information about late-afternoon and evening Advance Dining Reservations on Tuesday.
While Resorts will remain open (with a handful of exceptions — see here!), Advance Dining Reservations at Disney World Resorts will be honored only through 5:30PM. Park ADRs will be honored up to one hour prior to the Parks’ early closures (1PM at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom; 2PM at Magic Kingdom and Epcot).
To reflect these closures, Disney “will not be enforcing cancellation policies for dining and other experiences,” and they further state that guests do not need to cancel their remaining September 3 ADRs. Pre-paid experiences for September 3 will be automatically canceled/refunded.

I live in s. Florida and we are traveling up to the parks on Wednesday September 4t just for the day. We have dining reservations in Animal Kingdom and fast pass for Rivers of Light. Will the parks be open tomorrow? The storm has pretty much moved away from us and the sun is out. We don’t want to cancel our plans unless absolutely necessary. Is there a phone number to call for the latest Disney information on park closures, or a website that is up to date on tomorrow’s closings if any? Thanks AJ! I love DFB!! Thanks for all your hard work in keeping us up to date on everything Disney!!
