According to Disney, you can visit Galaxy’s Edge from now until “September 30th and post a pic from your visit on Instagram or Twitter using the sweepstakes hashtags and tagging @WaltDisneyWorld. You’ll be entered for a chance to win a vacation to come back to Batuu at Walt Disney World.”

Not planning to visit Galaxy’s Edge anytime soon? Do not fret! You can also look for a post on the Walt Disney World Facebook Page that mentions the Back to Batuu Sweepstakes. When you see one, comment on the post with a picture and the sweepstakes hashtags. Then, you too will have the chance to WIN!

Not into social media? You can also enter by mailing a hand-written letter with your complete name, e-mail address, and telephone number. This MUST be sent on a 3½”x5” card and can be mailed to “Back To Batuu Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 251328, West Bloomfield, MI 48325, to be postmarked 9/30/19 and received by 10/10/19.”

So, what’s the grand prize you ask?? Well, the opportunity to set foot on the planet of Batuu, of course!
Disney has announced that “In honor of the year Star Wars – A New Hope premiered, they are inviting 77 lucky fans to come back to Batuu at Walt Disney World® Resort to attend a special Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge event on December 4, 2019.” This happens to be a day before Rise of the Resistance officially opens to the public!!

Being from the UK I entered the back to batuu sweepstakes and sent a postcard as described in your information but unfortunately I did read on the Star Wars site that the competition was only open to the Us 😢
Obviously being a massive Disney and Starwars fan I was devastated to read this after sending off My airmail with fingers crossed 🤞
Five years since I visited last and saving to go back in a few years time when all the construction work has settled down a bit.
