We’re seeing BLUE thanks to the new Arendelle Aqua collection that is on its way to Disney World and Disneyland.

We had the chance to check out some of the merchandise and a few of the treats in advance thanks to the V.I.PASSHOLDER event at Epcot. And guess what we got to try!? The Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake!! 🙂
Do you remember the Rose Gold Cupcake from Sunshine Seasons? Well, the Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake is the sister cupcake to that one, meaning they have similar flavor notes. The only real differences besides the color are that the Arendelle Aqua cupcake is vanilla (instead of marble) and it’s filled with Nutella.

The Arendelle Aqua Pearl Cupcake is topped with a mountain of vanilla buttercream. We enjoyed this treat’s yellow cake and vanilla icing, though it was almost too sweet for our liking. There were big chunks of Nutella in our cupcake, so if you like Nutella you’ll likely enjoy this quite a bit.

But not winning any flavor contest by any means are the fondant bow and ears. They were almost like taffy in texture and tasted a bit like cotton candy. But, remember, tasting good isn’t the primary purpose of the bow and ears — they’re there to make the cupcake look good!! They do make this a total Insta-worthy treat, we must say.

You can find this cupcake beginning TOMORROW at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot for $5.49 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. OR, if you happen to read this post and you’re an Annual Passholder, you can grab it tonight!

This is how I “thought” the Rose Gold one would be, so I’m glad they got it right, and even better with the color since I’m not a Rose Gold fan. I did get the Rose Gold one last week, but will get this one in 3 weeks 🙂
