A few months ago, we told you guys about the new Beauty and the Beast-inspired bar and lounge coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. While we’ve known for some time that this lounge will replace Mizner’s Lounge, we’ve been (im)patiently waiting for more details ever since.
Well, TODAY, Disney released a plethora of details about the new lounge, including its official name — Enchanted Rose.
The new lounge will feature four unique spaces inspired by the popular live-action film. Disney states that the signature bar “will glow from the light of a magnificent gold chandelier that takes its inspiration from Belle’s flowing ball gown,” which will provide nods to the iconic Enchanted Rose from the film.
According to Disney, Enchanted Rose will offer an assortment of shareable bites. You’ll be able to “snack on an artisanal cheese selection with pine nut bread and raisins or enjoy an exquisite dish of white sturgeon caviar served with egg timbale, crème fraiche, and chives.”
The menu will also feature Mini Smoked Short Rib Sliders (YUM), Espelette Pepper-Spiced Shrimp, Octopus a la Plancha, and Crab and Gnocchetti Gratin. We are PUMPED to try Enchanted Rose’s truffle fries and flatbread pizza as well (but especially the truffle fries — let’s be real).
Since Enchanted Rose is a bar and lounge, it’s no surprise that there will be several alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the menu. Disney mentions that “cocktails include beverages such as the Island Rose with grapefruit and rose vodka, lime, orgeat, pineapple, bitters, and rose water.” Other cocktails will include the Lavender Fog, which consists of dry gin, crème de violette, English breakfast tea, vanilla, and cream, and the Garden Daisy, which features tequila, Midori, lime, egg white, and cucumber. You’ll have plenty of wine and champagne options as well!
Among the non-alcoholic offerings are the Garden Cocktail, which combines non-alcoholic spirit, lime juice, agave nectar, and soda, and the Rosemary Cooler, which consists of Odwalla lemonade, vanilla, and rosemary.
According to Disney, Enchanted Rose will open sometime this fall, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an official opening date!

This looks beautiful and the food pics are mouth watering! Once the kids are gone from the house and its just hubby and I spending our vacations in Disney I can definitely see this as a place to go just to enjoy some drinks and apps with no pressure and timeline to follow. 🙂 Thx for sharing!!!

Will you still be able to see/hear the Grand Floridian Orchestra from this bar?
Diane Nolan says
Can’t wait.

I get what they are going for here—a sort of “Trader Sam’s for the GF” which is a cool concept for sure. But it’s kind of a bummer that it leaves the GF without a Lobby Lounge. Enjoying a nice cocktail while listening to the Orchestra is one of my favorite things to do. I hope there is some sort of concession to that, and it’s not just another thing to wait endlessly for.
I love going to Sam’s—the Polynesian Village Resort is by far my favorite Resort at WDW, but during a lengthy wait, there is always the Tiki Terrace or Tambu Lounge to enjoy.
Looking forward to seeing it, at any rate!

Joan, that’s a good question. I expect yes, but I’ll have to see if our on-site people can get a sense of this.

Will miss the shrimp dish that was served there. Hopefully they will add that to the menu.

I’m with Joan in wondering about the orchestra/band. Live music is such a great aspect to the Disney experience. I hope they don’t disband (see what I did there?) that great group.
Please let us know the answer soon! 🙂 Thank you!

Rachel, we haven’t heard any plans to “disband” the performers at the Grand, but if we do, we’ll definitely update!
