Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Today we’ll chat about all the latest food, construction, and merchandise updates, including new Loungefly bags and Christmas ornaments.
Let’s get started!
Hollywood Studios Food Update
Hollywood Boulevard
Kicking off our walk on Hollywood Boulevard, we noticed that the entrance stand had a couple of pastry options available. These pastries are brought out each morning and are available until they sell out.
The stand was also selling the BB-8 Stein in addition to the Alien Sipper.
Hollywood Studios Construction Update
Skyliner Station
During our visit to Hollywood Studios, Cast Members were training at the Skyliner station. Though we couldn’t get super close, we could tell they were wearing yellow and white costumes. Get a sneak peek at the Skyliner Cast Member costumes here!
The new transportation system will open on September 29th, and will connect Epcot and Hollywood Studios to several Disney World resorts.

Animation Courtyard
Outside Star Wars Launch Bay, we spotted some banners for The Mandalorian we hadn’t seen before. In case you missed it, The Mandalorian is an original series from LucasFilm and it will be available to stream on Disney+ this November.

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Celebrity 5 & 10
In Celebrity 5 & 10, we found some youth t-shirts ($19.99 each) we hadn’t seen before!
We spotted a shirt featuring none other than Queen Elsa herself…
…and a shirt depicting Mal, Audrey, and Uma from the Descendants movie series. If you buy two, you can get these shirts for $15 each!
Once Upon a Time
In Once Upon a Time, we noticed a pair of DuckTales Loungefly bags we previously found in Disneyland! We spotted the Scrooge McDuck Loungefly backpack for $80…
…and a Huey, Dewey, and Louie Loungefly crossbody for $65.
Which one do you like best??
It’s a Wonderful Shop
If you ask us, it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas decorations, which is why we were jazzed to see these attraction-themed Mickey Ear Hat ornaments for $24.99. (These may not be super new, but they ARE super cute.)
We found a Radiator Springs Racers ornament…
…a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ornament…
…a Buzz Lightyear ornament…
…an Enchanted Tiki Room ornament…
…a Splash Mountain ornament…
…and an ornament inspired by “it’s a small world!”
We love how detailed each one of these ornaments is — we aren’t sure how we could pick a favorite!
