Howdy, everybody! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New in Epcot!
Today we’ve got a lot to tell you about, including menu changes, construction updates, and lots of new merch — including some adorable Finding Nemo buttons.
Let’s get started!
Epcot Food Update
Future World
Over in the Land Pavilion, we noticed that Sunshine Seasons has added the new Frozen Arendelle Aqua Lemonade to its physical menu — thanks to a handy-dandy label maker. 😉
In case you missed it, we tried a boozy version of this slush (along with allll the other new Arendelle Aqua treats) when the Frozen-inspired color trend debuted.

World Showcase
When we were meandering around the France Pavilion, we noticed that a favorite seasonal treat has returned to L’Artisans des Glaces! The Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches are BACK!
The Pumpkin Spice Macaron Sandwich has replaced the seasonal Strawberry Macaron for the time being. If you’re a fan of all things pumpkin spice, head on over to the France Pavilion to grab this fall-flavored treat.
Epcot Construction Update
Future World
We couldn’t spot many external changes to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction, but we did see a few cute umbrellas on the roof! We give our props to the construction crew — September in Orlando can be quite warm.
The new thrill ride is slated to open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021 and we’re already counting down the days. In case you missed it, we recently got a closer look at the attraction’s snazzy ride vehicles — you can check those out here!

Also in Future World, the water outside of Journey into Imagination was drained again once again.
Meanwhile over by Mission: Space, construction continues to progress on the upcoming Space 220 restaurant and looks about the same from the outside.
The new restaurant will feature a panoramic view of space and will offer an internationally-inspired menu. According to Disney, Space 220 is expected to open sometime this year, so we hope we’ll have more information to share with you soon!

World Showcase
Construction is also underway on Epcot’s Skyliner station.
The Disney World Skyliner Gondola System will officially open on September 29th, and will connect Epcot and Hollywood Studios to several Disney resorts!

I’m so excited about the skyliner; to me it will be an attraction all to itself, and although I’m not a beer drinker I think those Octoberfest beer drinker items will be a hit!

I really miss being able to order merch, they took away the app, they took away the ordering phone line..shopdisney.com has very little. you use to be able to order just about anything over the phone or on the parksapp. Seems like they are just going backwards anymore, would love to order a couple of those Germany things.
