Hey all you Disney World cool kids! We’ve got some exciting news for you!
Cool Wash is FINALLY OPEN at this year’s Food and Wine Festival in Epcot!
This booth arrived fashionably late to the 2019 Food and Wine party, which started August 29th. You can find Cool Wash in Future World near Test Track — it’s conveniently right next to The Donut Box, which also opened today — so you can hit both new Food and Wine booths in one fell swoop!
Read our Full Review of The Donut Box here!
The offerings at Cool Wash are all Coca-Cola related so if you’re missing your membership to the now-defunct Club Cool, this might just be your new favorite spot!

First, we’re gonna try Cool Wash’s Assorted Coca-Cola Slushies (non-alcoholic) which include special mix-ins such as Spice Drops, Candy Pebbles, Boba Pearls, and Pop Rocks! Note there are NO swedish fish…which is what Disney said would be here when they announced the booth…and we are seriously UNHAPPY ABOUT THE LACK OF SWEDISH FISH.
Anyway, here are a few suggested combos…or you can create your own!
In order to create your own custom Coca Cola concoction, you’ll need to select your flavors and toppings on a special Cool Wash order slip! Mix and Match however you like — there are no rules on a Disney vacation, bb!
The flavors include classic Coke as well as Cherry, Orange, Banana, Watermelon and Blue Raspberry Fanta.
Next, choose your toppings!
We went with a RAINBOW slush of all the flavors (except Coke, cause that would just make it all brown), and included pop rocks and rainbow candy pebbles on top!
And yes, we know you’re asking about that weird slush cup. Who thought that would be a good idea? I do. not. know. You can’t put it down, unless you take off the top dome and awkwardly set the cup inside…but the cup is too top heavy for that so it doesn’t really work? Anyway, I think it may be just Disney’s way of making sure you think you’re getting a full cup of slush but really you’re only getting a third of a cup of slush. Or maybe that’s just today’s price increases subconsciously messing with my perception. IDK.
Either way, this is a cute, fun, customizable drink for the kiddos…and for the big kids (like you and me), too. And, weirdly, I’m not even too annoyed by the price? Am I getting numb to Disney pricing? Is that what’s happening??? SEND HELP.
Next up, we tried the intriguing Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla with St. Petersburg Gin. Guys, LOOK at this adorable glass YOU GET TO KEEP IT OMG.
This will set you back $13.50 (shudder.) but some of us JUST MIGHT DO IT for that glass. We weren’t blown over by the taste — there’s a lot of flavor going on in that Orange Vanilla Coke to begin with, but the gin did actually balance out the sweetness a bit.
But glass aside, there was one more alcoholic option we were really interested in…
Guys, this is like a boozy frozen Coke Freestyle machine!!! How cool is that?! You have the choice between Jack Daniels and spiced rum and can customize if you want cherry or vanilla flavor added to your Frozen Coke! We went for Jack Daniels in our Frozen Coke with cherry, per Cast Member recommendation.
The serving here is small (really small), so be prepared for that. We really enjoyed this drink — but warning, it melts FAST in the Florida heat. This little drink will cost you $12.00. TWELVE DOLLA. So…I guess you’re paying for the cool factor of the boozy freestyle machine.
So overall — this has major fun factor for the kids. You get to check off boxes, choose your toppings, have ALL THE FLAVORS…I mean that’s awesome, and they’re going to love it. But the pricy grown-up drinks need to be budgeted for carefully (whew, luckily I have NOT gone numb to Disney pricing…at least not yet).
And there, my friends, is the FINAL Epcot Food and Wine Booth we’ve been waiting for! Here’s to fall weather (eventually), Food and Wine, fun, and friends (your real ones, not the TV show, but if we’re talking about the TV show, I’m definitely a Monica).

Is it actually glass? Or plastic?

I know it’s inconvenient not to be able to set it down, but it’s a giant Screwball cup from an old fashioned ice cream truck! I love it, and have to have one!!! Too bad there’s not a gum ball on the bottom!

The movie theater I work at has the frozen coke and liquor machine. It’s fantastic!!
