From l’Artisans de Glaces and Vivoli il Gelato to Ample Hills Creamery and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, we are always down for a delicious cup or cone of ice cream when we’re in Disney World.
And soon, we’ll have a NEW place to grab a cold, refreshing treat. A brand-new gelato cart is coming to Epcot’s Italy Pavilion!
You might be thinking, “Wait…I thought there was already a gelato cart in the Italy Pavilion?”, and you’d be right. A new gelato cart will replace the current kiosk, and it will be run by the Patina Group (they helm several Disney World restaurants, including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli).
According to Disney, the new “kiosk will be scooping up 12 different varieties of gelato and sorbet, including gluten-friendly and plant-based flavors.” It will offer a seasonally-inspired menu and will incorporate local fruits into its recipes. That certainly sounds yummy to us. 🙂
Disney hasn’t announced many details or an opening date for this new gelato cart yet, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more!
