Review! The Pumpkin Caramel Cupcake in Epcot Has Made Our Fall Wishes Come True!

‘Tis the season for all things pumpkin and Disney World always brings its A-game.

We’ve tried pumpkin shakes, pumpkin beignets, and just about every other pumpkin-y offering Disney has thrown at us. But just when we thought we had tasted every bit of this Fall flavor we could handle (haha…j/k we love us some pumpkin!) we found a new Pumpkin Caramel Cupcake over in Epcot.

We have never been one to hide our deep, unwavering love for all things sweet, creamy, and buttery to come out of Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot. If you spot crazy people sniffing the caramel-y air outside the front doors….yeah, that might be us. So imagine our joy when we spotted a NEW caramel cupcake offering in the case!

There was no name card out for these sweeties yet, but the Cast Member helping us referred to it as a Pumpkin Caramel Cupcake. Two of our fav things — yes, please! Once outside we noticed our pretty swirl of frosting had been a bit smooshed by the lid of the to-go packaging. Bummer. 🙁

The Top Was a Lil Smushed But Still Delicious!

We immediately noticed just how moist the cupcake itself was.

Cutting into it revealed just what we were hoping for — it was full of that incredible homemade Werther’s Original Caramel made fresh inside Karamell-Küche!

And how did it taste? OMG you guys. This thing is the bomb dot com. If you like pumpkin flavored goodies this is right on the money! The cake is crazy moist and not too spicy. It is JUST right! The frosting on top was a not-too-sweet cream cheese frosting that was perfect with the cake. And the caramel…ooooh the caramel. Guys, you didn’t know how much you needed pumpkin and caramel in your life until this.

We already have a hard enough time practicing self-control in Karamell-Küche and this cupcake isn’t making it any easier! You can grab one for $5.59 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. And you should. Quickly. Otherwise, we may go back and eat them ALL!
