We love visiting Disney World’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort for SOOO many reasons! It has gorgeously-stunning grounds, a bunch of statue alligators playing instruments in its main courtyard, and of course, the unfettered access to ALL THINGS Mickey Beignets!
And while Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory has been THE only place where you could snag these delicious pillowy pieces of fried dough topped with copious amounts of powdered sugar on Disney World’s property, we’re here to tell ya that they’re no longer on Sassagoula’s MENU!
Although these are still showing up on the Sassagoula menu online, they were no longer listed as available on the physical menu at Sassagola Floatworks and Food Factory when we visited today.

Before you start going into a deprived-of-Mickey Beignets-induced tizzy, please let us put your mind at ease! Mickey Beignets aren’t GONE — they’re still available! And while they’ve left Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, they haven’t traveled far!

You can now get your Mickey Beignets at Scat Cat Club’s Cafe which is conveniently still located at Disney’s Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort right next door to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory!

Remember when we told you that Dinsey would not only be renovating Scat Cat’s Club but that they’d also be opening Scat Cat’s Club Cafe? Well, this is where you’ll be ordering all your future Mickey Beignets from!
And don’t forget — you now have even more Mickey Beignets at your disposal than ever before! We’re talkin’ Specialty Mickey Beignets with your choice of either chocolate, cinnamon sugar, or raspberry flavors!

And if you’re looking for something a little sweeter, check out the Mickey Beignet Sundae! There’s little we don’t like about Mickey Beignets covered with rich vanilla ice cream drizzled with your choice of sauce (we LOVE the salted caramel!), whipped cream, and a dusting of powdered sugar for measure! YUM!

Did they move the deep fryer out of the counter Service and into the Club area? Or do they cart them over, I liked watching them be prepared fresh while we watched!
Any word of the status of the gluten-free beignets location?

Is the beignets sundae considered a Disney dining plan snack?
Do they still have gluten free beignets at Port orleans?
Ugh. I was afraid this would happen. So now if you want beignets and hash browns for breakfast, you have to do two separate check out lines.
Is Scat’s open the same hours as Sassagoula?
Is scat going to be serving pumpkin spice beignets till the end of October? Going to be visiting soon and been looking forward to them.
A push to get more in Scats Club to drink….pretty empty when i stayed last 2x inside…..more booze more money……….
Janet, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe is a new coffee shop/cafe at French Quarter, and when they opened this month, they started serving the beignets all day. Scat Cat’s Club has been moved into a larger, separate space.
Rebecca, we would expect to see pumpkin spice beignets through the end of October.

And this probably means the GF beignets are gone. 🙁
Julia, we’re looking into this. There’s a chance they’re still being prepared in the same kitchen, in which case, GF beignets should remain.
We just went there last week. My daughter and I had the Bailey’s and her roommates split a sundae. Oh my gosh, soooo good. Thanks for the suggestion on a previous post. That was the only reason we stopped by.
can you use your refillable mugs here
Linda, as a matter of course, probably not (though if you ask, a cast member might fill it for you). But it’s right next door to Sassagoula Floatworks, where you can fill it.
