We totally dig the weird and over-the-top Disney food trends that pop into the parks.
Themed Candy Apples
While we’ve spotted MASSIVE sundaes, smoke-filled snacks, chocolate covered bacon, and more in Disney World, one underrated spot nestled in Disney Springs is usually ahead of the trend-setting game with their sweet (and sometimes even savory) treats. But, since trends don’t stick around forever, it might be time to say goodbye to some of the creative cotton candy flavors this candy shop has been spinning up.
The hand-spun, original cotton candy from Goofy’s Candy Company is currently gone from the store! A Cast Member informed us that the treat has already been unavailable for a few days and that it’s unclear if it will be returning. (Alexa, play sad violin music.)

Gourmet flavors like Birthday Cake and Pink Lemonade were only recently joined by a new exciting assortment.

Although you can get cotton candy in every Disney park, the Goofy’s Candy Company gourmet cotton candy has been unique to the location with interesting flavors for only $5.49. The twist on a classic treat is something both kids and adults could enjoy (especially since they are served fresh).

And, although the gourmet cotton candy may be back at some point (you never know with Disney), the flavored treat isn’t the only trend that Goofy’s has been setting. Over the past few years, Goofy’s Candy Company has allowed guest to create their own treats…

While it might be a bittersweet goodbye to the cotton candy trend, there could possibly be a new trend in the works over at Goofy’s Candy Company. Although you can visit different candy shops like the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom, we highly recommend visiting Goofy’s if you want whacky and whimsical flavors that are two sugary steps ahead of the latest food trends.
