Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New report from Disney Springs!
We’ve got lots of construction, food, and merchandise updates for you, so let’s dive right on in!
Disney Springs Construction Updates
Ample Hills Creamery has a popular location on the BoardWalk and now another ice cream spot is coming to Disney Springs!
While we’ve been watching Ample’s construction takeover the Something Silver store location, the building and construction now have walls covering them.
We can’t wait to taste all the fantastic flavors and specialty treats at Ample Hills when it opens!
Some of our favorites at the Boardwalk location include make-your-own-sundae (ooey gooey butter cake, please!!), ice cream cookie sandwiches, and ice cream flights!
Disney Springs Food Updates
It might be Fall, but we’re still ready for a tropical getaway. Take a flavorful trip to the beach with the Flavors of South Florida at Amorette’s!
The avocado key lime mousse is layered with strawberry pate de fruit, and caramelized sesame seeds for $8. Although we were able to spot the treat this weekend, it’s been sold out during the week! So, be sure to head to the patisserie to grab one before the Flavors of South Florida sells out again!
We’ve seen plenty of wacky cotton candy flavors at Goofy’s Candy Company like Cookie Dough, Berry Smoothie, Key Lime, and Sweet Mesquite BBQ, the gourmet cotton candy is missing from the candy shop! A Cast Member informed us that they may or may not be coming back, but that they weren’t sure.
Check out everything you need to know about the gourmet cotton candy and Goofy’s Candy Company here!
Who ya gonna call for all the best Halloween desserts? Sprinkles! The new Ghostbusters cupcake collection has made a sweet appearance in-bakery with the Slime Cupcake!
The vanilla cupcake is filled with tangy citrus “slime” and topped with cream cheese frosting and a themed candy disc for $5.95. Just keep an eye out for Slimer before snacking on this dessert!
Check out our full review of the Slime Cupcake here!
The Double-Stuffed Oreo arrived back at Sprinkles this past summer, but now it has been given a spooky Halloween makeover.
The chocolate cupcake is filled with orange vanilla buttercream, lined with a Halloween Oreo cookie crust, and topped with MORE orange vanilla buttercream, an Oreo crumble rim, and a bat candy piece. You can get the Halloween Double-Stuffed Oreo through October 31st!
Starbucks had the same Fall Specials and Barista Favorites as last week, but introduced the “No Tricks… All Treats” Menu featuring the Scary Berry Lemonade, Freaky Frapp, Witch’s Brew Cold Brew, and Mummy Madness coming soon.
The Disney Springs Food Trucks roll out some of the tastiest snacks, meals, and desserts in the area. And, now they’re giving us hot-and-cold running chills with their Halloween offerings!

The FuelRod Stations used to be one of our favorite parts of Disney World. In the past, you’ve could purchase a full charged portable charger with cords for most smartphone types that was yours to keep for $3o. After the battery was drained, you could swap the FuelRod for another fully charged portable charger for FREE.
However, times are a-changin’ because FuelRod swapping will now cost $3 in Disney World instead of being free — beginning November 1st. We’re kinda bummed about this change tbh since it was such a convenient way to keep your phone charged all throughout the parks.
We LOVE the Num Num Cookies inspired by Incredibles 2 (seriously, we could have 5). And, it’s pretty obvious Pin Traders does too with the Cookie Num Num Pin…
