While we already discovered the Hidden Truth Cupcake at The Artist’s Palette yesterday and sampled their new fat-free dairy-free Apple Cider Sorbet this afternoon, we’re back to bring you this yummy-looking little beastie — the Maleficent Cupcake!
And no, this is not the same Maleficent Cupcake we reviewed from Disney’s All-Star Music Resort a few days ago! Though they are pretty similar!
While Maleficent 2 has been out for a little while now, we just spotted the Maleficient Cupcake in the dessert case today!
This spooky-looking treat is putting us in a trance with its purple and green buttercream icing accented with touches of edible glitter. And just look at its big pointy dark chocolate horns!
The cupcake itself is made of chocolate cake and it’s stuffed with a rich caramel ganache! We felt like the chocolate flavor was definitely the stronger of the two and overpowered the more subtle notes of caramel, which came through just a little bit on the back end!
The Maleficent Cupcake had the best flavor, overall when we enjoyed all three elements — chocolate cake, caramel ganache, and buttercream — all in one bite!
You can pick up a Maleficent Cupcake from The Artist Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort for $5.99. And if that doesn’t satisfy your Mistress of Evil sweet tooth, check out the other tasty Maleficent Treats we’re spotted at Disney World here!
