NEWS! Dates for runDisney Events in 2020 and 2021 Are HERE!

The runDisney races are running events hosted each year in Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris.

These athletic events typically sell out SUPA FAST because of how magical it can be to participate in a race through the Disney parks and around the Disney property. With Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend kicking off right now in Disney World, we’re already looking ahead to the runDisney events of next year!

The dates have just been announced for the next season of runDisney races, and the ticket sales dates, too! If you’re hoping to participate in one of these events, get your tickets sooner rather than later (i.e. BOOK ON THE DAY THEY OPEN) because space does fill up.

Runners from all over the world travel to Disney parks to experience a race with a special touch of Disney magic. Participants dress in Disney gear, run through the paths of Disney theme parks, and get to meet favorite characters along the way.

A brand new race is kicking off at Disneyland Paris next year with the Disneyland Paris Princess Run. Tickets are already on sale for this event and the race weekend will be May 8 – 10, 2020.

Guests can also join in on the fun with the Disneyland Paris Run Weekend, which has been around for the last five years. The Run Weekend will take place from September 24 – 27, 2020 and tickets are on sale now!

At Walt Disney World there are FOUR awesome race weekends planned for the next runDisney season. Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will return November 5 – 8, 2020 in conjunction with the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. Grab tickets starting March 10!

The classic Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place January 6 – 10, 2021 and tickets will be available on April 7, 2020. This Marathon is the largest runDisney event for the year and is a great bucket list race for any runner!

For those who want to run like royalty, grab tickets to the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend when they go on sale June 9, 2020. The event takes place February 18 – 21, 2021.

Or if the force is strong with you, run at the Star Wars Rival Run Weekend. Pick the light side or the dark side at the event April 15 -18, 2021. Get your spot when tickets go on sale July 14, 2020.

If you can’t make it to any of these race dates but want to get in on the fitness and fun, there are even virtual races that you can participate in from home! Sign up in March 2020 for the runDisney Virtual Series that runs from June – August 2020, or for the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon on July 14, 2020 to be run January – March 2021.
