We announced earlier this year that Epcot’s Liberty Inn in the American Adventure Pavilion would be closing to make way for a new fast-casual BBQ and craft brews experience.
Today, Disney has shared the news that Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will be coming to Epcot this WINTER and released a first look at several menu items.
The menu is set to feature classic American backyard barbecue as well as a variety of home-style craft brews. Featured on the menu will be a variety of sandwiches and platters as well as a plant-based option.
The first sandwiches revealed will be a sliced Texas beef brisket sandwich with house-made spicy mop sauce on garlic toast and a South Carolina smoked sausage sandwich with tangy mustard sauce and caramelized onions.
A variety of barbecue platter options will be available including a North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt, Kansas City smoked chicken, and Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, each of which will also be available a la carte.
Burger options include a Grilled Burger topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring (on more garlic toast!) or a Plant-Based BBQ burger featuring a plant-based patty topped with BBQ jackfruit served on vegan garlic toast.
It’s not all heavy meats and burgers though — lighter options will include a Power Greens Salad with chilled pulled chicken, fresh citrus, and a citrus vinaigrette.Â
And what would a barbecue joint be without all those tasty sauces?! Options here will include a spicy mop sauce, sweet BBQ, tangy mustard, and a classic vinegar-based sauce.
Side options will include a variety of barbecue standards like french fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw.
The Kids Menu will feature smaller-portions of adult-sized entrees and more. Options will include a BBQ rib platter, burger, BBQ chicken salad, BBQ chicken leg, or chicken salad, all served with your choice of two sides.
Dessert options will include American classics like banana pudding and a s’mores brownie as well as a cup of fresh watermelon garnished with torn mint.
The beverage department will be focused on all American brands, including a selection of beer and cider from around the country, wines from the west coast, and specialty regional cocktails (available with and without alcohol). We’re excited to try the Tennessee Lemonade Cocktail and the non-alcoholic Berry Sparkler.
You’ll be able to enjoy this amazing lineup of food and beverages from an outdoor bar as well as additional outdoor seating. Winter can’t come soon enough!

Will you be headed to Regal Eagle Smokehouse to chow down on some barbecue when it opens this Winter? Let us know in the comments!
Hannah says
That’s one change I can get behind!!!
Stacey says
Looks good, but since when is Kansas City Smoked Chicken a thing?
Jen says
Do you know if they’ll offer gluten free options and is it a quick serve place or atable service? Also when will be able to make advanced reservations if it is table service?
DebC says
We’ll probably check it out, but it already looks disappointing. Just leave all the crap off and give me some barbequed meat.
Janet says
We are headed down the last week of January. Will it be open by then?
Carolyn says
When will Regal Eagle open?
NC-Dad says
If their pulled pork has a vinegar-based NC sauce like Mission BBQ has, then I’m all in. November 14th can’t get here fast enough!
Andrew De Jong says
Finally be there. 12/1
DFB Sarah says
Carolyn, no specific opening date has yet been announced. Disney is still saying winter.
DFB Sarah says
Janet, so far no specific date has been announced. Hopefully so! We’ll update when Disney releases the date.
DFB Sarah says
Jen, it’s expected to be “fast casual” — so quick service, but it may have a component where the food is delivered to you. We’ll keep updating as more info is released.
Kelly says
Is Fast Casual the same as Quick Service? And if so, will it be on the Dining Plan?
DFB Sarah says
Kelly, that’s a great question. Fast casual can just mean quick service, or it may mean ordering at the counter and having food delivered to you. We’ll watching for more details to emerge.
Pattie says
That soounds so yummy for the tummy we will b so happy to try that and we also love those big turkey legs n the magic kingdom that is a meal n it’s self
Lily says
Has construction started on this restaurant? Is the current restaurant closed?
DFB Sarah says
Lily, yes, the previous restaurant is closed, and construction is underway. It’s supposed to open by end of 2019, so we’ll be watching!
Vanessa says
The menu items may be a little on the heavy side for me, but I’m curious to see the beer menu. Any more details on that?
John says
Seems as long as you like ‘garlic bread/toast’ you’ll be all set. If not……………
Theresa says
We are going in January and would love to eat here! Any idea if it’ll be open then?
Beth says
Yum!! It’s about time the American area is represented by something other than hotdogs, hamburgers and chicken fingers. 😆😆😉😉😉
DFB Sarah says
Theresa, we’re watching for a specific opening date! I hope so!
Jeff says
Since they will open sometime this winter, they should be firing on all cylinders when I arrive in early May!
Nancy says
We will be there the end of January. Will we be able to watch the Harmonious show from their patio?
DFB Sarah says
Nancy, HarmonioUS has been announced for 2020, but it’s not expected as early as January. Epcot Forever will be blasting off nightly, but I would expect the views will be obstructed from the patio.
