Christmas is in the near future, so what better place to celebrate than Tomorrowland?

With the holiday season closing in, we’ve seen tons of holiday decorations appear around the Disney parks. From glitzy garland in Hollywood Studios to the HUGE gingerbread house at Grand Floridian Resort, Disney World is definitely getting ready for the merry mood.
Last week we shared the beginning of Tomorrowland Speedway’s transformation for the holidays, and today, we spotted lots more being added at this attraction in Magic Kingdom. Check out these super fun, retro-futuristic trimmings!
The whole of the Tomorrowland Speedway track is decked out with spherical lights of different sizes that look both futuristic and festive!

There’s some abstract versions of Christmas trees that make it feel like you’re cruising through a fir tree forest of the future.

Here’s some more of those giant orbs! We love this fun and unique take on how to decorate for the holidays. They almost look like snowballs at the ready for a giant battle, right? We’re wondering if they’ll light up different colors, or stay white as snow.

But don’t worry, the orbs aren’t the only interesting geometric light on the track. Cubes also get some love in this vaguely festive display.

There’s also these massive retro star cutouts. These would look awesome on the top of a Christmas tree!

Some of the stars can even be seen mid-orbit around the foliage.

And then there’s our favorite piece of decor. Check out this retro explosion of lighted baubles! If you love it here, you can totally have it in your house for the low, low price of $86.99 ;-D.

The decorations at the Speedway are under whelming, could have done much better. Whoever did that should be transferred to Animal Kingdom to shovel Elephant poop.
