On a hot day at Animal Kingdom, we’ll never turn down the chance to cool off at the local watering hole!
In this case, that watering hole is our ol’ favorite Dawa Bar in the Africa section of the park, and we’re heading there to check out a new, delicious seasonal concoction. After tasting the new Bugs n’ Grubs Cupcake nearby, we were ready for something to wash it down!
We’ve got a new drink on the scene with quite the festive name! The newest drink to hit the scene at the Dawa Bar is the Cape Gobbler Cocktail!
This fabulously fruity drink is made with Snow Leopard Vodka, Cranberry Concentrate, and comes with a Sugar Rim! YUM!
On first impression, we found the Cape Gobbler Speciality Cocktail to taste like a regular ol’ cranberry and vodka – which is a-okay by us, why mess with a classic?!
There’s no denying it’s pretty to look at as well, with a sweet sugar rim and eye-catching bright red color! Plus, Dawa Bar is one of our favorite spots to grab a libation because their drinks are often quite strong! This was no exception!
Overall, if you’re looking to cool off from a day in the park, and are a fan of cranberry and vodka, we think this one will be a winner for you! Plus, that name is fun to say…cape gobbler!!
The Cape Gobbler Speciality Cocktail can be found at Dawa Bar in Animal Kingdom for $13.

Keith says
I have not had a “strong” drink at Dawa since the first few years it was opened. All of the drinks are premade now and contain almost NO flavors from the spirits that are supposed to be in them. I suggest adding a shot of the appropriate spirit to any of these so that they will at least resemble a cocktail.
