While visions of sugar plums danced in some people’s heads, we’ve been thinking about those GREAT Hand-Pulled Candy Canes that are made for the holidays in Disneyland!
And, we are SO EXCITED we’re here to give you the deets on the newly released dates for Candy Cane snackin’ this year!! (We can almost taste them…)
The Candy Canes in Disneyland have been a delicious Christmas tradition in the parks for over 35 years. The confectioners have to work in teams to even be able to make the treats, so you know they are pretty amazing!
The Candy Palace in Disneyland and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure will be the hosts of the seasonal treat again this year, alternating on different days!
Candy Cane Tips
Okay, since these treats are so good, you can bet your candy buttons that EVERYBODY is going to want to snag one of them. If you want a Candy Cane, you’ll have to make a treat-run game plan. We advise getting lining up at least 30-45 minutes ahead of park opening (but earlier is always better!). As soon as the gates are open to guests, make a bee-line towards the specified location for the day.
When the shop opens for the day, limited wristbands will be distributed to the people waiting in line. Previously, we’ve seen that around 40 wristbands are given out per Candy Cane batch. Three batches happen per day so a total of roughly 120 wristbands are typically distributed. BUT, we’ve also been told that sometimes more than 120 wristbands have been distributed before, so ya never know!
Since there is one wristband per guest, you can guess that only ONE Candy Cane can be purchased with the proof of a wristband. Once you have a wristband, you’ll be given a time to return to the Candy Kitchen in the stores. However, you can pick up your candy cane any time after your batch time, but prior to 4 PM (or it’ll be sold to someone on standby!).
