Let’s head over to Wilderness Lodge, my friends, to talk about a NEW Gingerbread house being built!
Thanks to instagram follower @nikiterp86, we got the word on a fun new addition to the Wilderness Lodge’s holiday decor!

I mean, it’s already epic. That amazing tree and the fun bear decor everywhere? So majestic! But this afternoon our instagram follower spotted THIS hanging out behind the Lodge!

Hmm…that sure does look like a Gingerbread roof! ;-D Since the Wilderness Lodge has never had a gingerbread house before, we were curious!
After asking some questions at the front desk, we discovered that there indeed may be a gingerbread house this year! The cast member wasn’t sure of the opening date. She mentioned that Goofy was still baking some of the cookies. ;-D And then we saw this cute “announcement.”

Well lookee there! It looks like there might be a little gingerbread cabin in the Wilderness Lodge lobby! It’s our guess that you’ll be able to purchase some goodies there as well! ;-D Disney never misses an opportunity to make a sale, so be ready for gingerbread shingles and other yummies there!
We’re so excited about this new addition to the gingerbread house decor throughout Disney World! Looking forward to seeing it for real!

We can confirm this as well – and we were told off the record that it will be placed “very soon”. Two days ago, an artist had a display on the same spot, and when we woke up, it was roped off with that sign

I knew it! There is a gingerbread pin this year from Wilderness Lodge, and that can only mean one thing. Also, there is a pin from Saratoga Springs -could there be a gingerbread horse there?
Does anyone know when the tree did go up! Visiting Nov 14-18 2020 specifically for the holiday decor – hope it will be up!
M. Miller, the first we saw of the tree was November 22 this year, but the rest of the decor was up in mid-November, and the tree was up just after that. Hopefully it’ll work out for you!
