While we’ve been tasting ALL the treats while we’re LIVE at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Mickey Santa Hat Mousse caught our eye since it looks pretty similar to a certain Sorcerer’s Hat 30th Anniversary Treat we picked up at Hollywood Studio’s 30th birthday bash! Though MEGA photogenic (werk, gurl), that Sorcerer’s Hat treat let us down in a BIG way. So, we couldn’t help but wonder — how did the holiday version stack up?
The Mickey Santa Hat Mousse can be found at ABC Commissary for the Christmas season! And, it is SUPER CUTE with its glazed Santa hat and little Mickey ears!
The shortbread cookie is topped with chocolate mousse and two chocolate discs. Well, we have to say again that these Mickey Hat Mousses are not Hollywood Studios’ greatest desserts. The chocolate mousse fell a little flat, and the white around the hat tasted like a strange gum paste.
If you’re craving a mousse in Hollywood Studios, you might want to grab Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine or the Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone instead!
