We can’t get enough of all the eats and treats popping up in Disneyland for the holidays!
In New Orleans Square, we’ve already sampled the new Cranberry Julep at the  Mint Julep Bar and the Holiday Pozole at Harbour Galley, but now we’re gonna deck the halls with some delicious seafood! (Merry Fish-mas, everyone! ;D)
The Blue Lump Crab Fritters are being tossed and fried at Royal Street Veranda for Christmastime!
The fritters are filled with crab, cream cheese (!!!), Old Bay seasoning, herbs, and citrus, and also come with a cocktail dipping sauce.
Just one bite, and we were already in love with these fritters. The contrast in texture between the crispy outer shell and the soft filling (and that crunch sound!!) is wonderful. The consistency of the filling almost resembles a chicken salad, but it’s considerably less thick and melts into your mouth. Yeahhh, it’s just as good as it sounds!! While the crab is delicious, the cream cheese makes it even better as it’s the most prominent flavor (which we OBVIOUSLY can’t get enough of).
While the fritters were soooo good on their own, the mild cocktail sauce cranks them to the next level. The slightly sweet sauce pairs perfectly with the cream cheese and the crab, tying the whole dish together. For real, we’ve never finished a snack so fast in the parks before!! 🙂
