Just in time for the holidays, Disneyland has magically transformed into a Winter Wonderland practically overnight!

And, the holiday treats have been appearing along with it! We’ve tried the Peppermint Mickey Shake and the Christmas Cake in the parks already, and now we’re tasting ANOTHER sweet dessert in the parks!

The Raspberry Mascarpone Yule Log is swirling up like snow at the Plaza Inn!

The vanilla sponge is wrapped up like a gift with raspberry marmalade and mascarpone filling and topped with buttercream ganache, chocolate curls, and chocolate and fruit drizzles.

The look of this treat reminded us of crackling logs in a fireplace, which we ADORED!

Now onto the taste! The layers of the log are wonderfully balanced so there isn’t too much cake or filling. While the filling is creamy, the cake’s texture is light and fluffy to complement it (YUM!!).

A Bite of the Christmas Treat!

While we love a good raspberry twist, the vanilla mascarpone is the highlight of this treat! It’s smooth, delicious, AND even has little crunches of chocolate curls mixed into the filling! IT’S JUST SO GOOD!! Plus, to give a little extra Christmas magic, there is a hint of mocha in the dessert. We think it would be even better with a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate!).
