While we reported to you yesterday that Disneyland’s Snow White’s Scary Adventures would be closing sometime in 2020 to undergo an extensive refurbishment, we’ve just found out a Disneyland headliner will also be undergoing a BIG overhaul!
Yes, explorers — Disney’s just filed for building permit with the city of Anaheim to refurb ANOTHER major attraction!
If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland in 2020 and are excited about riding Indiana Jones Adventure, you may want to prepare yourself for some disappointment.
Although the dates of the attraction’s refurbishment have yet to be announced, we now know the dark rough-and-tumble thrill ride will likely be refurbished in 2020.
According to the O.C. Register, “Disneyland crews will replace a plank bridge and its steel structure in the show set of the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction and refurbish rockwork, according to the building permit.”
Ride refurbishment has been confirmed by Disney officials, and that means this headliner attraction is likely to close for at least some part of 2020. So if Indie is on your list, you should get there quick!
That’s TWO Disneyland attractions we now know are getting overhauled in the last TWO DAYS! That has us wondering… will there be more?

It was on a refurb on Nov 4-7 and my son just and I mean just hit 46 inches. I love that ride but thank goodness we were there till the 8th but on that day it was constantly down. We got a paper fastpass and luckily it was running when it was our time to go. It was so fun!

As part of the refurbishment, and since they’re working on the newest Indy installment.. I hope they add Harrison Ford’s voice into the ride as was originally planned.
